I love the customer service I get here. I love the bulk spice section, making my own peanut butter, and especially the cake I purchased for my coworkers birthday. It was devoured!

Our first but not last time for sure. Parking in front is only one hour if you can find a spot but there is a parking garage around the corner. We enjoyed our lunch. My friend and I created our bowl and the guys ordered an oyster basket and sliders. The meals were delicious and came out very fast. Service was nice.

Spent an evening here with friends. We ordered a number of dishes, all of which could be called generous. Prices were reasonable. Service was medium-slow on a Friday night. Our servers were personable, but not what you might consider exceptional.Food was OK...nothing special. Very, very informal atmosphere - Ts and jeans the norm.

Had dinner last night at the Newport News location. Promptly greeted and seated at a nice booth. Server was friendly and took care of our every need. Atmosphere was OK...but music was too loud and more "hip-hop" quality songs playing instead of dinner music.Menu has changed dramatically (no more tilapia, no more pork loin, not sure what else is missing from "new" menu.). Prices have seriously increased. Food was poor. I had the rib-eye steak (medium rare). Steak was properly prepared but half of it was fat and gristle-inedible. My sides were potatoes au gratin (potatoes were raw) and broccoli (must have been frozen...absolutely no flavor). My entree and two sides was $29. My hubby had the cod (supposed to be encrusted with crab)....instead it was encrusted with an inch thick layer of bread crumbs and had six or seven pieces of crab lying on top. He had the same lousy broccoli and mashed potatoes that were cold. His meal was $22. The only good food was the bread and pesto. We both had a glass of house wine ($4 each).....was OK, but could probably buy a whole bottle of this quality wine for $4. Entrees are expensive here. At this cost, you could get better food in a more upscale environment at Second Street or Fin. If you are seeking a nice dinner, don't go here. I cannot recommend this location and we will not return.Hello,Thank you for your feedback on our menu and your experience. The view looking west of the James River is spectacular. We were there for a social event that started in the early evening. There is indoor and outdoor capacity. The bar is good and the food, while nothing exceptional, is adequate and fairly priced. Service was good, particularly considering that we were a large group. The television over the bar is tuned to Fox news: so some folks will be delighted and others offended. We would return on a nice afternoon or evening just to enjoy drinks and the wonderful view of a sunset over the James.

I really enjoyed my visit and this was actually my first time ever visiting here. While some of my friends felt it was a great restaurant, it was a little pricey but to me, I disagree. You pay for great food and experience! Will definitely be back.

My husband and I stopped by Fin for a quick glass of wine during their Happy Hour and ended up staying through dinner! Appetizers were fresh and delivered promptly. Our barkeep explained the wine choices and gave us room to decide. We will be regulars!
