Had reservations for party of five on a Friday at 6pm. Enjoyed the ambiance, booth seating and general aesthetic of the restaurant. Not loud even when it was busy. Superb service-very attentive and knowledgeable server! Great cocktail options and service. Enjoyed lasagna, others enjoyed seafood. Plenty of parking options in the area within easy walk.

I met some friends here for lunch. It was perfect because there were not very many other people at the restaurant. It's also convenient if you are looking to take a flight at the Norfolk International Airport. I had a sub that was delicious. And, I'm sure everything else on the menu is awesome, too.

Havenât been here in a quite a while but want to support its staying power. Not much (except me) had changed. Nearly full parking lot, middle-aged clientele, small clusters of friends and some couples. Great waitress Katherine! She was fast, young, friendly and unobtrusive. And she was there on my last visit years ago.My wife had a small white pizza with spinach and enjoyed it. I tried something different, a breaded chicken breast covered with cheese and marinara sauce plus a salad and side of pasta with a chunky garlic and tomato topping.I donât usually order breaded anything but this was just fine. It was light breading with a meaty chicken breast with little gristle. The marinara and the cheese was a great topping combination.Portions were large enough but neither of us had room for dessert nor any portion to take home. The house salad and dressing was terrific! I was so busy eating I forgot to take photos.

We were six people for a Saturday night dinner in March. Our order consisted of Chicken Parmesan (X2), Spaghetti with red clam sauce, stromboli, flatbread cauliflower pizza with toppings, and pizza slices. The food was very good and the portions were generous. Service was relatively prompt even though the restaurant was very busy. There was one mistake in our order as we asked for peppers on the cauliflower flatbread and they put on pepperoni, which had to be picked off individually. Perhaps the mistake was because the restaurant was crowded and a little noisy. This is a really good place for Italian cuisine, has a lively, modern feel and a place I would recommend if I lived in Norfolk. Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback with us. We're sorry for the mistake that happened with your order. Kitchen mishaps are a little unusual as we do take the time to make sure all orders going out from the kitchen are served correctly at your table. We'll look into fixing these errors and hope the next time you dine with us you'll be even more impressed. Cheers!

We preordered our dinner online two hours ahead of time. The restaurant called and let us know they were on the way, met them in the lobby at the time we scheduled. Pizza and sides were tasty! Great service! Thanks!

Weâre staying in a nearby Airbnb and decided to give Razzo a try based on the reviews. We ordered five different pasta dishes for take out. Although the meals were tasty, for us, they did not live up to the reviews. As noted by other reviews, sides or salads were not included with many meals. Pricing was high for the quality we are used to, but, that could just be us. Seems to be popular so they are doing something right. I would not go out of my way to try again.

On Friday, Oct. 11 we had a reservation for 10 people at Varia. We were fortunate to dine in a lovely and intimate private room where we were seated at a round table - especially conducive to talking and catching up as we were celebrating a Big Milestone High School reunion with friends from all over the country who made the trip back to Norfolk for the reunion weekend. Our server, Trent, was especially attentive and helpful in assisting with cocktail selections as well as menu choices. Our food and drink all arrived in a timely fashion and we could not have been more pleased with the level of service. The sommelier greeted us as soon as we had been seated to assist with wine choices which was a very nice touch! Everyone raved about their entrees, and the desserts were over the top! It was exciting to show off one of Norfolk's best restaurants to our out of town guests, several of whom had not been back here for decades.Kudos to The Main and Varia for upholding such high standards in both service and quality of food and presentation. It was a great way to kick off a special weekend!Thank you for your wonderful review! We hope to serve you again soon!
Where to eat Seafood food in Norfolk: The Best Restaurants and Bars

What I thought Luce was and what it actually was were lightyears apart. I expected table cloths, waiters, pasta...Boy was I wrong. Instead, I found a 7 table restaurant with a bar... But the food...was beyond any expectation you could ever imagine. Starting with the appetizers. Goat cheese with pesto and a clam dish.. both were heavenly...we asked for more bread to just sop up the clam sauce, it was that delicious! Our dinners wound up being passed around as we each raved over the delicate tastes of our own. Lobster Presecco Gnocchi, Cioppino, each one was better than the other... The recommended wines paired perfectly. Dessert... we just couldn't decide...but we shared 2 between 4 people and just raved over each one. How have I missed this place? My grandparents were from Italy. They once took me to a place in NY that I thought could never be beaten. I was wrong. Luce is surreal in its excellence. Go...you will NOT be sorry. MAKE RESERVATIONS
