We loved the food here. They have good thin crust pizza, and amazing cheese bacon and fries. The Ledo sauce was pretty good. The only reason we gave it a 4 is because we received our appitizer after we got our pizza. It was a mistake and they were apologetic.

I happened upon this quaint, little store front pizza place when I discovered the Italian restaurant where my group and I intended to dine had recently gone out of business. Stuck in the parking lot, I saw the glimmering lights of Danny's Pizza beckoning us in. Te four in my group were completely satisfied with the quality of food, the price of the meals, and the service of the staff. I also noted, right away, that the local law enforcement community frequent this place. From my perspective, any place that caters to our LE community is great by me. I had the Greek pizza, which was excellent. I can see (taste) why they were voted "Best Pizza in Fredericksburg." I also learned a bit of trivia about this place that says it is a locally family-owned and family-operated restaurant that has been open since 1997. "We are the grandchildren of a Titanic survivor and we have lived in Fredericksburg for over 30 years. Now, that is pretty cool!

We ordered take out since this place is convenient. We ordered Scallops & Shrimp All a Castigilia, Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Carbonara. I really enjoyed the Chicken Carbonara and my wife enjoyed the Scallops & Shrimp. The Chicken Parmigiana was ok also. The portion size were generous. The only issue we had with the order was with the salad dressing was not what we requested. We would order from them again.

Combination Italian Restaurant/Pizzeria with ABC license for beer/wine. Home style Italian cooking with sandwiches and pizza also available.
Thin crust. Fresh toppings. Place is clean and the service is good. Small pie is enough for two meals. One cheese pizza and one the works pizza with anchovies plus a tea was $32 with tip. Not cheap for a lunch meal but we took home a whole small pie so not terrible. We don't live far from here and have had the calzones and pasta dishes that were all good.

We finally wandered into Primavera this weekend in a downpour. We had seen it before but never took the time to stop in. My wife and I are from Northeast Ohio originally and have NEVER found a really good italian restaurant south of Columbus or east of Pittsburgh in the 30+ years since we moved away. So I was hoping for an "adequate" pizza or maybe a chicken parmesan that was close to real Italian - but we've learned to temper our expectations when it comes to "italian" restaurants outside of our home area. We've been to every other one in Fredericksburg. We are usually disappointed but were completely BLOWN AWAY by Primavera. I decided to go with a Stromboli with red sauce on the side. My wife chose the baked ziti with egg plant. Everything was phenomenal. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was exceptional. The pizza dough on the Stromboli was as good as it gets and the fillings (mozzarella, pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage) were out of this world. Fresh, perfectly cooked, flavor was great. Everything is "home made" nothing out of a freezer box.The service was excellent. Friendly, courteous and fast. We loved it!! Don't expect fancy - the motif is a bit dated and it's not a white table cloth kind of place. It's casual and the food is fantastic!! Primavera is our new favorite. We'll be back very soon - as in tonight. And for the review below complaining about not getting a free pizza when you didn't order the 2-for-1 special. Seriously get a life.

Enjoyed a very good rooftop meal here. Service a bit sketchy but I overlooked it due to some scuffles that took place between a couple of women. I doubt fistfighting fighting women is a typical occurence at this nice place but it happened. I am sure it diverted the waitstaff's attention. We had two meals...a pasta with chicken dish was excellent and quite a large portion. The pickled vegetables were excellent. Salad with grilled chicken was a huge portion. A cocktail was mediocre.

July 10, 2019 attended Bravo's with a large group. Ordered spaghetti with grass fed beef meatballs for $15.99. Pasta is cheap, yet the portion was very small and I don't like big hunks of tomatoes in my spaghetti. Meatballs were on so so. My opinion is the meal was very over-priced for what was served. I would have been ashamed to serve that meal for that price. Also, the service was soooooo slow. I did not dare to order desert. A slice of chocolate cake for $7 is outlandish and just too much. Glad I decided to have an ice cream desert at Baskin Robbins instead. I was treated to this meal and didn't have to pay anything. The only thing good about this experience was the friends I was with. I seriously doubt my/this review will be published. ....................jeannie perelli, woodbridge,va
