Wow. What a disappointment. We used to go here all the time and it was great. New owners and terrible food. Service just so so. Shrimp were way over cooked and no taste. Worst excuse for a Ceaser Salad Iâve ever seen. Fried oyster and baked potato was good. Smallest crab cakes I ever seen for a big price. Canât say Chef, so Iâll say cook must have a love of lemons as everything was loaded with lemon juice. Out of 6 people only one that could say all they had was good. Owners do something. This use to be a destination restaurant now itâs just a building on the water that has not so good food. Wonât be back!!

ok, can't say enough great things about this restaurant. Service can be fast or slow depending on what you want, in other words, you can take it slow or make it fast food. We have done both and have really enjoyed ourselves every time.

Welcome to Newsome's, where great burgers, food, and fun come together in our little yellow building at the end of the Northern Neck of Virginia. If you're looking for that down-home flare with the surety of a full stomach and smile at the end of your mea
We were staying in Reedville at a B&B for 2 nights. Off season during the week, there's only 1 place, and only for lunch. First day came here for lunch--I had a Reuben, and it was very good, and my wife had her usual chicken salad sandwich, which she said was OK. Went back that night, and she had a hot dog with chili & slaw, so much that she had a hard time finding the hot dog itself. I had a BBQ sandwich with slaw, and about the same situation--loaded with good tasting slaw. Next day, we skipped lunch after a big breakfast, and picked up salads to eat back at the Inn. I get the chef's salad, and it was loaded with turkey & ham, as well as the other salad makings, and she got the grilled chicken salad. Dining room was pretty noisy the first evening, but at both lunch & dinner, we sat at the tables provided outside on the patio. Definitely a keeper. When back in the area, we'll definitely return to Newsome's !!!

Best Fresh Local Seafood in the Northern Neck! Crabs, Crabmeat, Scallops, Shrimp, Fresh Fish, Fresh made Salads Daily. ABC On/Off
My wife loves crab cakes and I love fried oyster. Cockrell's was the perfect fit for both of us. The crab cake had just enough "not-crab" to hold it together; it was cooked perfectly. Her only regret is that she didn't order two!The oysters were huge - 6 made a good meal with the side of fries and an order of hushpuppies (an absolute must). Lunch here would be worth the 2-hour day trip from home.

Welcome to Reedville Market, previously Tommy's. New ownership since December 7, 2018. We are a waterfront restaurant offering the best quality seafood and steaks. We are open year round. Come by land or sea. We have indoor and outdoor seating, and rooms
Tommy's is now called The Reedville Market, bringing out it's history from years ago. We recently went for family dinner on a Friday night. Everything was great. Latoya is a great server who knows her customers, and remembers details of what they like to drink and eat! Drinks were fast, bread was hot and the fried oyster appetizer was mouth watering! We also enjoyed all of the entrees we ordered. I would highly reccomend a visit if you are traveling to the area or live in and around the area. I only wish they were open for lunch and brunch!Thank you for taking the time to leave us a wonderful review. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

The Crazy Crab is a Reedville tradition where family and friends meet by land or by boat to enjoy delicious food and spirits while enjoying the sights and sounds of the Chesapeake Bay! Come dine with the Crazy Crab Crew!
Tired of being stuck in the house during 95 plus degrees we ventured to the Crazy Crab for lunch. A wonderful waterfront location in an old waterman's town provided a welcome respite from the heat and humidity. My lady ordered a flounder sandwich, fresh fish, great bread and fries. I ordered the crab cake over fried green tomatoes. WONDERFUL! A great palate pleaser, Service was quick, efficient and the price was right. Definitely will be on the list for another visit.Thank you so much for your kind review!!! We are so glad your had a wonderful dining experience!! Hope to see you again soon!
