We got a table fast. It was cute because there were lots of teenagers dressed up in prom clothes, very sweet. Our waitress had a loud overpowering voice. We asked about the beer, she said, I never drink beer. Itâs all overpriced, The food was ok but was not very hot at all. Not the best Outback I have ever been to.

Olde Towne Steak and Seafood has been in business for 36 years and has consistently offered superior steak, seafood, cocktails and atmosphere. A true localsâ spot, Olde Towne offers a famously excellent prime rib and fine dining experience.
Expectations are high. The interior is very nice; the prices are high; the portions are generous, but everything is so bland and the details are just ignored. The bread is good. Hot, but not hot enough to melt the ice-cold butter. The salad could not be more boring and the homemade blue cheese dressing was missing blue cheese as far as my husband and I could tell (âCan you taste any blue cheese?â âNo.â âMe neither.â). I had Norfolk Shrimp which is supposed to be jumbo shrimp with a lemon butter sauce. It is plenty of jumbo shrimp with the tails on (I HATE having to peel my own shrimp at the table) broiled in unsalted butter with a wedge of lemon broiled along side - thatâs it. Nothing special at all. The creamed spinach side has plenty of garlic, but no cream. Also, nothing special. Husbandâs 14oz Delmonico was flavorless. Sizzling hot, but not a glimmer of seasoning. Baked potato is actually steamed because itâs cooked (and served) in an aluminum foil wrapper. No flavor. A tiny dollop of sour cream and some of that ice cold butter. Totally underwhelming and way over priced. We expected something special - it wasnât.

My boyfriend and I went for dinner. I ordered a burger and he prime rib. We both ask them to be cooked medium. When his came out it was obviously well done. Mine was still red in the middle so it was medium rare. I was ok with that but we sent the prime rib back. When it came back out it was obviously rare. You could see a small bloody pool on top. He went ahead and ate it because we were not sure what would be next. The asparagus was good. Baked potato and fries were OK.Our server was new and a little nervous, especially after the steak issues.

If youâve never been to a Texas Roadhouse you are missing out on a great dining experience. Whenever Iâm out of town I always look for a Texas Roadhouse. Service is good and quick. Sit down to a bucket of salted peanuts in the shell and a cold beer. Great Happy Hour prices and atmosphere. I havenât had anything from their menu that I didnât like.

Last weekend members of our party had the DelMonico Ribeye, Hangar Steak, and the Strip Steak - and in sharing, we could not decide which meat was best. Their homemade marinade dry-rub was very tasty (especially if you like seasoned with salt.) The side dishes of black-eyed peas and squash were also excellent. Only minor disappointment was that a Cauliflower Steak advertised on their on-line menu was not being served at time of visit - disappointing for a vegan guest. Staff was friendly and efficient. Prices were not cheap (even coming from New York) - but thought it was an excellent value for the quality and taste of the steaks.

We were able to get last minute reservations at Firebirds for Mother's day. In general we enjoy going to Firebirds. Despite being a chain, it is definitely a step up from outback, Logan's, Longhorn or other chain steakhouses. The coconut shrimp appetizer is very good. The double black diamond martini is fantastic. They can accommodate bigger groups if you give them some notice.
