Soooooo glad they reopened, after a fire 2 years ago. This chicken is amazing flavorful. ...Side are pretty good yet portions not great. But chicken is outstanding everytime. Ive been eating at the original location in Arlington for over 20 years. This location dangerously closer to my home....smh. YUMMM

The food was tasty. The chicken was delicious and the chai Ken soup was loaded with vegetables and chicken.

A friend recommended El Charro for a late lunch. Everything was satisfactory, but nothing is above average, including the prices which are right. Go here for a nice average meal at a reasonable price. I think the menu is too big to standout in any dish.

I came here for lunch after being told that the chicken, yuca and green sauce here was amazing and that it was better than my favorite place for this type of food, which is Guapos. The service here was friendly - with a smile. Their menu prices were amazing, very inexpensive! I got a half chicken with beans and yuca. The yuca overall was nice, but some pieces were dense and tough to chew. The beans were flavorless, I had to use an entire cup of green sauce to spike them up a little. The chicken had potential, meaning that some pieces had the charcoal and spice flavoring I wanted, but much of it didn't. Also, the wing was so well-done that it was inedible. The spice mixture used for the chicken was nice, too bad there wasn't more of it on the chicken. The green sauce was amazing and definitely nice and spicy! When it comes to the dining room, this was more of a place to sit, very little to no decoration, a couple of TVs playing Spanish dance hits, but it simply wasn't very clean, warm and inviting.Overall, the food was good for the price and I'd go back. But if I want real flavor, I'll stick to Guapos.

I saw this restaurant with high reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to check it out for lunch. On the outside there was nothing special, but the inside was very cute. Everything was very clean. Service was excellent. Our server helped up pick out our meal.Maybe I do not each much authentic Venezuelan food, but I had expected more flavor. We had Empanadas and Arepas. The food was OK. I just wanted more. The green sauce saved the day though.
