Food was very good - started off with fried spring rolls, very good and fresh. Wife had the chicken cashew (no. 2 hot) - lots of chicken and very good -but not at all spicy. I had beef and veggie with rice. Very good - tried the 3 hot - not hot at all. They go to 4 - I'll have to ask what Thai hot is then try and adjust from there. They did bring out the spice rack and with the pepper oil I fired it up. Waiter was busy and the owner just kinda stood there - service would have been much better if the owner had walked around with drinks and said hello. But food was good and we'll go back.

I ate here with some co-workers, 5 of us in the party. The chef pt on a good show, was very friendly and talkative. In a good way. The food was cooked in front of us, and mine was really good. I'd go back.

We've eaten at the same style restaurant in north Winchester and in Front Royal VA and the Okinawa follows the same style where you are seated in a semi-circle around a grill. In our case (me, youngest son and his two kids) were seated with 2 other families with all the seats filled. As with the other restaurants, the cook comes out and does his little performance banging the utensils around, making an onion volcano and tossing pieces of chicken into open,m waiting mouths around the table(if you desired!). If you haven't been to one of these restaurants, it's pretty entertaining the first time. When serving the food, I was kind of surprised that the meat, rice and veggies were served at pretty much the same time - novel idea instead of serving the meat, then the rice and then the veggies pretty much separately! Prices are the same as the other restaurants I mentioned - maybe they're all owned by the same company? The service was pretty good at bringing out the soup and salad and drinks and as I mentioned, the food being pretty much served by the cook at the same time. I wouldn't make it a habit to go to these type places, but once in awhile is OK

My daughter and I arrived around 5:30pm on Saturday and had the entire place to ourselves for 20Mins. Sushi was fresh and tasty and entre was made with no pepper-as requested! I can't tell you how great that is!

My wife and I visited for Lunch on Saturday afternoon July 14th. We were promptly seated and given menus. We asked about the special oysters on the chalk board outside the front door and she informed us they were out of Oysters. The waitress came back a few minutes later and we ordered a couple Stone Pot Bi Bim Bob. We told the waitress we also wanted to order some sushi so please leave the sushi order form and a pen with us. She did and came back about five minutes later and we ordered three sushi items. About 20 minutes later we received the three sushi orders. We proceeded to eat the sushi expecting our Stone Pots to be served soon. After we finished the sushi and she cleared the table she came back and asked if we wanted anything else. We asked her about the Bi Bim Bob that we ordered. She proceeded to argue with us that we never ordered any Stone Pots. My wife and I both knew what we ordered and it was shocking that she argued. She seemed to us to be a little spaced out. We told her to forget it and left. The only reason I gave it two stars is the Sushi was good. We were also surprised that the chalk board menu hadn't been updated for a Special that they no longer had available. It still hadn't been updated when we left. We probably won't be back.
