I frequently choose Howlett's for business lunches. Therestaurant is nicely appointed and the atmosphere is pleasant and quiet so that it is an ideal place for quiet discussions. The food is very well prepared and served at appropriate temperatures. Service is always very good and prices are reasonable priced. The menu has good variety. They frequent offer buy one, get one half price specials. There is rarely a wait for seating.

We were on the road 9 hours and needed a cold drink and a hot meal. The roadhouse was next door to our hotel. The bar had plenty of space. The service when we came in was poor.He was too bizzy taking care of a small problem while people were waiting..Empty table were all over.Servers were waiting for customers...It was not at all well managed.Food was good. but Ribs were over done.Chicken was super. No organization at the bar.Driks were good and came out quickly. Our server had too much to do and others were standing about. They need a new team of managers to get the place in orderHi, Jim. I generally order take out from here as hibachi is a favorite of mine but this is the closest to my house. Others are 15 minutes or more away if I want a quick takeout meal. I've dined in twice with this review being based on my recent dine in experience. The individual that waited on me provided basic customer service and was friendly. I ordered the hibachi filet mignon and shrimp combo with fried rice. There is a $2 charge for fried rice and they throw in noodles with your meal. I can tell the portions have gotten smaller and are definitely not worth the $30 I paid for it. I've been to many other Japanese restaurants and have gotten extremely full with still leaving with a to go box this time I barely was full and had absolutely not left to take with me which is how I determined that the portions are very small. Paying $30 for food that isn't of great quality is the reason I probably will not return here. Also, the other locations I've experienced the fried rice is included and the prices are a bit cheaper for much better quality.

This family owned and ran business is nestled on the Swift Creek. The view is nice and the food is delicious. Famous for their fresh steaks cut in front of you, to their mouth watering seafood and a very nice soup and salad bar. Come for a romantic date, a casual business meeting or a family celebration. You wonât be disappointed. Danny and his staff treat you special, not like a chain business.
