Grilled Cheese Mania has just celebrated it's 7 year anniversary. As many of our regulars know, Mania is my maiden name and our menu options are named after my family and friends. All of our foods including our drinks are homemade and prepared on site. We
The Grilled Cheese Mania was worth trying out. Perhaps it was not what I expected, since there was limited space to sit inside. In addition, the inside was extremely hot and could not see myself working there in those conditions without any air conditioner. Outside, there is some limited seating options, but it was challenging to avoid the sun hitting you from one angle or another (even with the umbrellas in place). Sandwiches are probably worth ordering to take out, but not sure that I would recommend having it inside/outside based on weather conditions. I would probably not return, but it is worth trying at least one time.Yes, we do have limited seating inside we are just a small Grilled Cheese House and that is all the seating the town would allow us. We have plenty of picnic tables outside, but like you said sometimes it is too hot to eat outside. We have come along way from our food truck with just two picnic tables perhaps one day we will have more but for now we enjoy what we have. We have had an issue with customers shutting off our air conditioner in the dining room and we did not know about it causing the space to get pretty hot. I apologize for that. I'm happy you enjoyed our food and I do hope you will give us another try one day.Blessings,Kathleen

Our family doesn't always eat on the same schedule, so we were looking a place for a quick bite that wasn't of the national fast food variety. My wife said "find a deli" and through divine providence McAlister's just happened to be across the street. I can echo what another reviewer said about the great sandwiches and a HUGE drink. The location is convenient to JMU and easy to get in and out of. We'll definitely be back to explore the menu further.

We saw an ad for Greens and Grains which is the new name for Salad Creations. You can get fresh salad from their selection or you can make your own (pick your ingredients) They also have sandwiches and wraps. You can get pick two (get half salad and half of sandwich). I got the strawberry salad with spring mixed greens, chicken, goat cheese, and candied pecan. For the sandwich I tried the Napa Veggies. Both were delicious. A nice break from all the fast food during our vacation. They have happy hours and sell beers too. Good selections including the alcohol contents are listed.

What a fresh, inviting place. Good food, bread made from amazing sourdough starter. The restaurant has simple, yet fresh takes on sandwiches, salads, and bakery items. The market has salt from Europe, mustard from France, and several other unique items not found in Hâburg.
