Accommodated our party of 11 well with a simple reservation. Courteous wait staff. Very generous portions. Nachos on Sundays are just $5; kids eat free Tuesdays. Broad selection of beer, sandwiches, sides. Check out salad/soup buffet mid-day. Close to Addy Grace Playground.

I know you might not think that this older stone front building could have much, BUT you would be wrong!This is a husband and wife team. This little spot has the best fresh hamburgers anywhere! Burgers are thick and juicy. Perfect bun and toppings. They also have good meals like spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread and salad. Best homemade fries or onion rings. All great.Remember to bring cash, they don't take credit or debit. No smoking family type restaurant.Don't miss out on this gem. They are open for lunch only, 11am-2pm and can open longer when there are lots of customers.

Occasionally i will order to-go orders as it is convenient to my work. Service is ALWAYS super rude and you never know if your order will be correct and tastes alright. They charge 59 cents for a small container of ranch. When the owners have to look up which sides come with their orders you know its bad. I am a huge supporter of all local businesses as i grew up in the restaurant industry. This place honestly needs a reality check if you can't even say "Thank You" as your paying customers leave you establishment.

Schooners is a wonderful place non-smoking and they have so much to offer each day. Happy Hour Specials are wonderful and the food is to die for, The bartenders are the best. Went there on a Friday Mel and Teresa were working place was packed and they took care of everyone then a little later another bartender came in to help out, and they had live music and a buffet they said happens every Friday.These two ladies are great so if you are every in Roanoke Va on Friday go see them. Schooners is great and when I am back there this is where I am going
