Toltecos is a great place to savor homestyle Mexican food with a wide array of beef, chicken, pork seafood and vegetarian choices. Their housemade salsa is top-notch and their chips are always fresh and warm when they arrive at the table. They have drink specials every night and they make some of the best Margaritas you'll ever drink. Their service is always great and the food arrives at the table fairly quickly and always hot.

Chuy's

Visiting family and they were hyped up on this place. Liked the decor and our server “Denise” was on her game. I had the Chile Rellenos/Enchilada Combo, ok flavor but a little too long under the warmer! Dry! Like most American Hispanic restaurants, they are heavy on the beans and rice (note picture) using up over half the plate. Wife found the pepper under cooked and commented the chicken was “hard to find”! After many years in the South West and West, and Baja, we’ve just accepted the “difference” in what is considered “to die for” meals within 50 miles of DC. Basically, the high concentration of people and “eating out” frequency allows for “OK” or Average restaurants to flourish! Again, average isn’t bad, just didn’t meet my expectations !

Plaza Azteca - Sterling

Wow my first visit to Sterling Plaza Azteca and it was delicious. My wife has been a Plaza Azteca fan with her office colleagues. The restaurant was packed for Mothers Day so we opted to sit at their expansive comfortable bar. We had uber professional quick drink and order service. Our lunch entrees were piping hot and DELICIOUS. We love Mexican food - Plaza Azteca delivered sterling service and wonderful Margaritas.
