My family went to Mickey G's this evening. We were so disappointed. First, we ate at this restaurant a couple of months ago and it was excellent. Tonight, my eggplant parmesan was soggy and tasteless. The bread was plain and did not taste fresh. The dipping oil very blah (the last time it was extraordinary). The marinara sauce was awful--before it was excellent. I raved to my family before we arrived and I must say that I was embarrassed. The service was excellent--very efficient. We won't go back.

We waited about 40 mins for our order and they finally came back and said they didn't have pepperoni. We had ordered a pepperoni pizza. Also we ordered a salad with mixed greens. About 20 minutes in, I saw the waitress look over at me at a distance, but heard her say, Oh, salad. She came back in a few minutes and gave us a spinach salad. We had them change the salad to what we ordered and we finally got it. Then much later they came back and said they didn't have pepperoni, so we said forget it and left and went to another pizza restaurant.

If you like traditional pizza, this is the best choice in Floyd, and I have ordered it numerous times over the past several years. The crust and sauce is excellent. They do, however, get stingy over the meat e.g. pepperoni, so I always order it double and that fixes it.
