This place has some of the best Indian food in Northern Virginia. I'm a big fan of the lunch buffet--lots of choices and reasonably priced. At dinner I tend to order the tandoori chicken or the baingan bharta (roasted eggplant). And I always order the bhelpuri as a starter. You really can't go wrong here, everything is good.

We went here for Father's Day. It was busy! We started with vegetable pakore, chicken tandoori, shrimp biryani, and palak paneer off the buffet. Everything was tasty but the chicken was particularly moist and tender. We had mango lassi and water to drink. They also had the rice pudding which I always look forward to. Yes, we liked this place. Now if we can just find how to get here on the bus...

The food was excellent. You would not know it from appearances as it looks like a little hole in the wall. It even has plexiglass windows instead of glass, and their form of insulation is packing tape. Not the most aesthetic appearing ambience but it makes up for it in service and food quality. When we ran short on the free crisp bread they offered more. When we ran low on basmati rice they offered more. Many places we've gone would quote you what it would cost extra if you asked but here they just offer it to you free :)Very nice friendly young guys run this place.Service is a bit slow but if you're with friends or someone to interact with it will go by fast enough. We even had food left over because the portions were decent in size. The location is hard to locate, but it is in West Field Plaza (check that name) around to right towards back next to a number of other small shops. The turn in for the parking lot is right next to the base of a pedestrian bridge on side of street heading from Falls Church to Tyson's Corner. Prices were reasonable.Bon Appetite!
