Le Yaca began in a tiny, country village(Courchevel)in the French Alps in 1964.Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided that it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans they told the hopeful restaurateurs that they were crazy
First, the place looks nice. The greeting staff was friendly & well-prepared. Our waitress, Brieanna, was as good as weâve ever had; perfect. Oh, yea the food: Presentation, Taste, Cocktails, vino, etc all impeccable. 2 of us ate, drank, etc. $143 + tip. The owner stopped for a short visit too. Overall, a memorable evening.

Wessex Hundred Founder Patrick Duffeler, Sr. and his family spent many years traveling throughout Europe, and in particular, the South of France. The food and wine culture in Provence, specifically, left an indelible impression of them and forever changed
Wonderful dinner at this high-end French restaurant. I recommend the charcuterie and cheese board. Everything else we had was also superb, from a vegetarian entree to chicken, red snapper and filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection.Great service (more French style, i.e. the wait staff wont be at your table every two minutes but they showed up when needed and we're very friendly). Highly recommended.

Had lunch at the Blue Talon Bistro. The menu has interesting sandwiches at reasonable prices. I had the meatloaf sandwich, which came with a pickle and a small salad. The sandwich was very good. My husband also liked his blackened fish Rueben sandwich very much. The restaurant is bright, cheery and very pretty. It's supposed to be a French bistro, although the menu was only slightly French. Our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, a very good experience. If you're looking for a mid-range, casual restaurant for lunch in Williamsburg, the Blue Talon is an excellent choice. There's parking behind the restaurant. The place was pretty busy for a Monday afternoon.
