We wanted to thank our local fire station for a recent tour so we bought them lunch from Dickey's. The Family sized XL meals were perfect. I can't say enough about the great staff at the Spotsylvania Pkwy location. The food was excellent and was a big hit with the firemen! Eat in or carry out, Dickey's is always a great choice for bbq!

Great baby back ribs a slab 16.99. The best ribs in the local area, likely the best I have ever eaten in Virginia and I have tried many throughout Virginia and all in the local area. They offer 1 sauce a sweet hickory good stuff. Today was opening day and I will give them a break because of it and wonderful ribs. However the pulled pork was passable their is better in the area. They serve a stuff baked potato 7.00 cheese, butter bacon, sour cream, cheese and chives. 7.50 with pulled pork. Potato initially was served not hot enough and had to be sent back a second time, however my opinion even on first offering potato seemed to have been over cooked ie left in warming oven too long , dried out. Green beans and coleslaw was good. Ribs were great and the ribs will bring me back again and will give them a second chance on the pulled pork. But do try the ribs.

I loved their bbq even before I realized it was owned and operated by Sam Ceilaki, who grew up in Fredericksburg and worked as a Spotsylvania police officer for 17 years. I had bought his bbq sauce when his mom was bottling it and selling it. Great bbq, just make sure you have enough of the great sauce!!! I love supporting the locals!
