You know how many reviews close with the familiar promise to return again. Weâll fit Afghan Bistro it is is SO TRUE! Once you have tasted these incredible authentic tastes you make this a favorite destination even when it means traveling hundreds of miles to get here! The goat and the lamb were phenomenal! The veggie dishes, especially the roasted squash are sensational! We arrived around 9:30 and still the place was packed!

Tricky spot to get to. Beautiful old stone building. We lived in the area a long time and have noticed a few different owners when name of restaurant has changed. Used a discount voucher so probably would not go to an expensive restaurant like this without it, Decor is beautiful and pleasant atmosphere with good service. Chicken dish was tender and perfectly seasoned. Side salad decent. We did not like the basalmic rice seasoning but that's just personal preference. Outdoor garden would be fine when weather good - too hot the day we were there.
Stopped in late on a Saturday night to give it a whirl. Sign said they closed at 9pm and it was 9pm exactly...but they still served us! Service was great and we took our food to go although you can dine in. We tried the Mantu appetizer and it completely knocked my socks off. Like, I want to eat that every day. I got the chicken kabob plate and the husband got lamb/chicken combo. The meat was alright. The chickpeas, rice, and yogurt sauce however, were delightful. I want to go back there immediately.
