Sin eâ Irish Pub & Restaurant is located in the Pentagon Row shopping center in Arlington VA. This neighborhood restaurant is a great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat either inside in-front of one of their 8 TVs or outside on the Weekend brunch run
Good location with parking nearby. Indoor and outdoor seating is a bonus! Great menu with a nice variety of traditional Irish favorites (fish and chips, shepherds pie, etc) but some American ones too (sandwiches, salads, etc.). Itâs our second time back since that not only is the food delicious and reasonably priced, but itâs the perfect meeting spot too to catch up with our friends when weâre in town! Be sure to leave room for dessert! SO worth it!

Situated on the edge of Georgetown University's campus, The Tombs is a neighborhood restaurant by day and a popular gathering place for Georgetown students by night. Along with 1789 and F. Scott's, The Tombs rounds out a trio of restaurants built in a Fed
Great lunch experience off the beaten and touristic tracks in busy Georgetown. We landed there unexpectedly and were immediately seduced by the special atmosphere of the place in the ceilings although the atmosphere remains warm and cozy. The staff is highly helpful and kind despite they are very busy given the number of tables. The drinks and food offering is very good with lots of flavor and far from the tasteless plates you can find in touristic places. You get real food and the cherry on the cake is that you feel you have dinner with locals and in a famous place which is priceless. Will definitely be there again. Had the best meatloaf in Washington

Near the Hyatt Park, Courthouse - a generally closed up late night place- but this one stays open later than any other place we could find. We were there till midnight. I had a truly great Irish coffee with an authentic Irish bartender ( here twenty years but still had a terrific accident).

After a couple of great work dinner experiences at Liberty Tavern, I chose to have my family (day after) birthday dinner there. Started out great with attentive service and great food, but went downhill after I discovered a long dark hair woven in with my squash gnocchi (which was delicious, by the way). After my husband left the table to find our server and share what happened, I left to use the restroom. When I returned, a new dish was waiting for me, but my dadâs and sonâs leftovers were already boxed up which was off putting and made me feel like I was out-of-synch with my family. I tried to quickly eat some of the incredibly hot food but was obviously behind the rest of our table. By the time I gave up, every other plate at our table had been cleared by the aggressively quick serverâs helper, including our unfinished side dish of Brussels sprouts which I had been looking forward to enjoying at the end. We were truly rushed out of the restaurant by some of the rudest table service Iâve ever received for the prices. The serverâs helper routinely reached across our table and in front of people (when there were no obstructions to make it necessary) and asked us to hand her plates. At the end I got fed up when she tried to take my plate in this way and told her she could come around the table to get it. I never saw our server again until he, no joke, speed-walked by our table at the end asking if weâd like dessert which we obviously declined. I had been planning to order a refill on my beer during the meal, but was never given the option. Iâll note that they did remove my meal from the bill without us having to ask, which was as it should be. I would enthusiastically recommend the food and drink, but the poor service tonight put this on my âdo not returnâ list which is unfortunate.

Savor global influence fare, courtesy of Chef Harper McClure, at The Pembroke, which The Washington Post food critic Tom Sietsema described as âcut from a different cloth.â The stunning ground-floor restaurant is truly a feast for the senses with a hip gl
I don't say this often (pretty much never) but The Pembroke is outstanding all around. From the time you step in the door, you'll feel welcome. Service is clearly a focus and all of the staff here provide excellent service. Matthew, our waiter, was fun and great help with the menu including the wine selection. The menu is not lengthy but the a good well rounded selection and changes seasonally. Our group ordered a variety of dishes from the lamb to fish to steak frites and all of them were outstanding. We managed to have room for a shared desert; also wonderful. The manager also stopped (I noticed he stopped at each table at some point during dinner) to check on guests. It was a nice touch. If you're looking for the perfect place for a special dinner or you just want to feel pampered, this is the place for you. Make a reservation: it does fill up .Good afternoon,Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a kind review! We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your meal with us at The Pembroke. We hope to be able to welcome you back again soon, and also invite you to check out our bar, Doyle, for some custom cocktails! We look forward to having the pleasure of welcoming you back again soon.Sincerely,Taylor Bradley

The historic service, authentic ambiance, and savory comfort food at Martinâs Tavern has remained a Georgetown favorite for nearly a century. Locally owned for four generations since 1933, the oldest family-run restaurant in town, Martin's is a long-stand
There's so much history at this tavern. Make sure you ask for the brochure that tells you all about it and the famous people who have eaten here. There was a bit of a mix up after we were seated and we had to ask the waiter to take out order. After that snafu, it was all good. We shared the petite crab crakes (more like crab rolls) and they were delicious. The sauce didn't match the description though. It was supposed to be mandarin. It tasted like thousand island dressing. I had the French onion soup and they rave that it's the best in DC. There was lots of cheese on top and really quite tasty. It probably is the best.
