Primo Pizzaria is located in a nondescript strip mall. The interior decor is also pretty nondescript, as is the food. The patio is a nice option though. I ordered the fried zucchini appetizer which is a huge serving for $7.25. After splitting between four people, there was still a bit left over. It was fresh and crisp and easily my favorite part of the meal. I also had a spinach calzone which was served with a large portion size and had good flavor. Nothing served was overly flavorful, and the sauce could probably benefit from some fresh garlic and herbs. The service was friendly and the food was served promptly. Primo Pizzaria isn't setting the culinary world on fire, but it does serve classic Italian food in large portions with friendly staff in a timely manner. It's a decent neighborhood family restaurant that I wouldn't rave about but would certainly return to again.

We had a great lunch with friends enjoying board games. This is a great concept for everyone to enjoy. Not an extensive menu, but everything we had was tasty. We were seated in the upstairs bar area, but had plenty of room for the six of us. Lots of games to choose from to play while you're there. Service was a little slow and needs to be improved, but overall, we had a lot of fun and look forward to returning.

We don't have CiCi's where I live anymore so the kids I was with were glad to stop here for lunch. It was excellent. If we had one run like this, I would say it would still be in business locally. We had a group of 30 and they kept the pizzas fully stocked and hot and fresh. Dirty plates were cleaned up quickly and one of our kids knocked over a drink. The staff came out and helped clean it up efficiently. We really enjoyed lunch and I highly recommend this location.

Group outing for 15. Reserved and well-done, though the restaurant doesn't have a special group room. Nice sandwich combo specials (e.g., Italian sub, drink and fries for $9). Nothing fancy, but good food, served with good humor in a comfortable environment. Wheelchair accessible, a bit of challenge for the vegetarian or the vegan, though the fries were good!

The Neapolitan pizza at Tony's is great. Their Sicilian pizza (if you are a fan) is even better. Try both and be sure. Other dishes (salads, antipasti, heros, etc) are just as tasty. Get used to Tony's operations, that is, the order here, pay there, get your ticket, listen for your number system. It's common in many eateries in Italy, if going there is on your agenda. It helps that the managers/owners are mostly from the same family from the Mezzogiorno.

Took a 21 member cross country team for pre-race dinner. Made reservation and they were very accommodating, asking about our seating preference, meal requirements, check preference. We were seated immediately. They accommodated the off menu request for simple pasta & red sauce for some of the athletes without resistance. The food was good, with the exception of one slightly undercooked pizza. The staff was friendly & helpful. Well done!

Ordered for delivery to our hotel while in Manassas on business trip. The gentleman I spoke on the phone who took my order was extremely pleasant and happy to help. The disappointment was in the overall taste of food. Here are a few areas that made this choice a buzz kill for us... We ordered extra sauce on two pizzas and they came as though we ordered âlight sauce.â The pizzas otherwise had correct toppings. The crust flavor and texture was extremely bland and so without sauce to enhance the flavor. It was a no go. My husband ordered fried mushroom caps - tasted like the oil needed changing. Our salads were generous portions however, just so bland. My husband is Italian and I cook Italian dishes all the time. We chose Mama Mia based on reviews (here and Google). Overall, not a place weâd order from again.

Took the family for a holiday dinner on the Sunday before Christmas. The bar area was busy but the restaurant not so much. Our server was great -- very polite. Can't remember her name. Like the ambiance and the overall menu. One of us got the ribs (very good) and two got burgers (also good). Husband and I got a spinach salad (it has asparagus on it -- bit odd). But the dressing was good. However, the pizza was a disappointment. The crust had no taste or seasonings and the sauce tasted something out of the frozen food section at the grocery store. Very disappointing. We ate it because we were hungry. Will try it again but order something else. Based on the pizza I only gave it 3 stars.

As our fave Italian local restaurant, we brought family here, that were in from out of town. The restaurant had broken a/c, but the place was packed as always, and still always the friendly service and excellent dinner! One of my favorite things is I can always get spaghetti squash with meals, and everything is amazing! The menu is huge, something for everyone and so many favorite dishes it's hard to count!!! Greek pasta, all of the Saltimbocca dishes, soups, appetizers! Waiting for fall and their butternut squash soup. which tastes absolutely amazing and like a cheddar broccoli!

If you are from NY, this is one of the places where you can eat pizza. It's not identical but it's the closest you'll find in VA. And you can get the Sicilian style (my favorite) here which is hard to find in VA and it's pretty good too.
