I was staying over night in Harrisonburg, and stopped to eat at Tutti Gutsi Pizzaria. They have a wide selection of classic Italian food at reasonable prices. Looks like thye do a booming pizza business, too. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which came with a tossed salad and garlic bread. The bread was perfect, not soft, but not too hard, either. Excellent flavoring. The salad was fine, with large tomatoes and fresh cucumbers. The chicken parm was huge, and delicious. Their marinara sauce is better than most, and the spaghetti that came with it was delicious, cooked to perfection. The staff their was very attentive and professional. They came by at least 3-4 times asking if I needed anything, and to clear plates. They even had a bar in the back, with TVs showing the Olympics. Wish they had one of these in Ithaca, NY. I highly recommend it! It was right at Exit 245 (easy on&off) of Rte. 81.
We've eaten Anthony's food several times now and find that it is always a treat when we travel to Harrisonburg. We almost always get the cheesesteak subs. While they don't match the quality of Philly cheesesteaks, they are quite good and I recommend them to you.

I stop here regularly as I pass through Harrisonburg on I-81. The subs (Italian) are out of this world. Pizza is good too. Not the fastest place but good food. Worth checking out!

We stumbled upon this hidden gem after being disappointed at another place and walked out after waiting 20 min for our starters. My kids were distraught and were looking forward to our meal. Ciros was everything and more. Our food was made to order, hot, and served promptly. Kudos to our server Heather for being so attentive.

This little place is excellent. We went here for an impromptu dinner on a very very rainy evening. The rain didn't keep anyone away! There was a steady number of patrons. The six of us each ordered something different and none of us was disappointed. I ordered the special of the day--steak salad & soup of the day. Both were great.

The highlight was the duckpin bowling, the free games and the beers...but the food was blah.... and I mean blah...The ham & artichoke pizza was covered in 'chunks' of artichoke - and I think the crust was fully cook. not 100% sure though.the mac and cheese was bland, and the "kid's nachos" was basically tortilla chips with melted nacho cheese. that's it. Even the basic cheese pizza was blah. My kids love cheese pizza, yet refused to indulge in this one.go for the games, beers and fun - not the food.Parking: free lotStaff: friendly (hostess / server - "Katie" I think - was super nice!)Ambiance: family-friendly (summer = no college)Would recommend: For certain thingsWould re-patronize: No

We pre-ordered, and picked up, two pizzas. They were ready when we arrived, which is much appreciated. One cheese & one pepperoni came to almost $60. Granted, like everyone else has mentioned, the pizzas are HUGE. We could barely get the boxes in my car. The pizzas were good; not great. The crust was slightly underdone on both pies. The restaurant was busy when we were there, so they must do a solid business. I'd probably return & order a slice, but it's certainly not the best pizza I've ever had.

We stopped in Vito's for a Saturday dinner. We had heard good thongs and were not disappointed. The food we had was fresh and flavorful. I had my favorite Chicken Marsala. The chicken breast was thinly sliced and tender enough to fork cut. the sauce was great. Plenty of mushrooms. My wife had the eggplant parmegiana. healthy portion. Well seasoned. It was just what you expect any parmegiana to be with plenty of tomato sauce and an abundance of cheese. My mother in law had the linguine with clams. The clams were freshly steamed served in the shell. There were plenty of them too. The white sauce had good flavor with a little pepper spice added that gave it some zing not normally associated with white sauce. It was good and certainly set the flavor apart from the olive place's bland food. This was all preluded by frsh baked garlic knots with marinara sauce. They were warm with fresh garlic. Very nicely done. Service was warm, friendly, and quick. The food took a little longer than I thought it would but the freshness of the food explained why. With tip for the three of us was about $60 or $20 a person. We did not have wine.Overall, I would highly recommend Vito's for your next night out!

This place brings a bit of rustic chic to downtown. You can enjoy several courses of well prepared and well plated food or grab a happy hour special pizza. The beverage selection (regularly updated wine, beer, and specialty cocktails) is innovative and reliably good. Knowledgeable and well trained servers make for a pleasant experience whether you sit at the bar or a table. If I have guests visiting this is a go-to for an upscale relaxed evening.
