Amazingly delicious Italian restaurant. I would LOVE to rate it. GREAT find in Lynchburg, Virginia. Thank you very much.
We were exhausted after traveling up from Charlotte area and visiting a few historical sites. We wanted comfort food. We have gone to Italy several times and did not know what to expect in Lynchburg VA, a rather smaller town for us.We were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and fast. We never had to wait on refills or special requests. The owner came over and chatted with us. He is from Italy and bragged about how his menu is authentic. While we found a few differences (mainly to using American ingredients), we were extremely happy with our meal. The pasta dish, Penne Caprice with GF pasta, was excellent. The pizza (regular dough, not GF) was really good according to my husband. We had a small salad and soft drink/tea (which were refilled promptly). The area (where we asked to be seated) seemed a bit noisy, but close to the door so we did not have to walk far. This seemed to be a family style area with lots of kids.We would eat there often if we lived in the area. For weary travelers, this was just the food we needed after a long day.
always happy with the quality and price here. Friendly staff, quick service and clean restaurant. We order out more often than eat in but like this good locally owned place.
Always enjoy getting take out from here. Great locally owned place and the employees are always super friendly. Food is delicious. Have never tried anything I didn't like here.

We ordered Carryout pizza twice this week, but we were disappointed with both. Our first order was on Monday for a Large 3-Topping Pizza (Monday-Thursday Carryout Special for $7.99). We ordered the Brooklyn Style Crust with Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, and Salami. The Brooklyn Style Crust is supposed to be cut into 6 big slices that are "foldable," but our pizza was cut it into "small squares" instead of slices. I emailed Domino's about it and they replied stating that their franchisee would contact me, but so far, I have not heard from anyone at this local Domino's. Every Thursday night we have a family dinner, so we decided to give this Domino's another try with their Large 2-Topping for $5.99 Carryout Special Week. We ordered three large pizzas online for our "Thursday Family Dinner," and because there was not a comment area online, I called to ensure that our pizzas would be cut into slices. The young man who answered said that both Hand Tossed and Brooklyn Style are cut into slices. He went on to say that only the Thin Crust is cut into squares, and he added that I could have brought the Brooklyn Style (from my first order) back and that they would have made it right. When I picked up our pizzas, to see that they were all cut correctly, and they were. But, sadly, when I got home, we discovered that all three were "over done." Especially the two with meat on toppings. There was a very small amount of Beef on the Brooklyn Style, and it was hard and dry; the Pepperoni on the Hand Tossed with Pepperoni & Italian Sausage was curled and the edges were burnt. Additionally, the Italian Sausage on it was like the Beef, hard and dry.Although our pizzas were edible, they were not delicious. When this Domino's opened, we were thrilled because it is just over a mile from us, but so far, the pizzas from there have not come close to the delicious pizzas that we have enjoyed from other Domino's. Even with the price of gas, I'd rather drive a little further for a better pizza. At this point, I can't help but wonder if we try them again, will our 3rd time be charmed?
Marco's Pizza recently opened near our house so we decided to check it out. First I looked them up online so I would have a general idea about the menu. Pizza, sandwiches, wings etc. They don't sell by the slice and my husband and I don't agree on pizza so we each got a personal 10 inch pizza. I got traditional cheese add mushrooms and he got a white pizza minus the tomatoes add ham. My husband loved his declaring it the best pizza he had ever eaten and he doesn't really like pizza. I on the other hand was not impressed. I like New York style pizza period. The crust was stiff, not foldable. It was bland until you got up close to the crust where you bit into too much sauce that tasted like uncooked tomatoes. Thick cheese with no flavor and no grease. I can eat it if hungry, but will not ask to go there or get on from takeout. And it was over $25 for 2 small pizzas and 2 soft drinks.
Not a fan of their microwaved frozen food. They do cook potato chips in house, didn't care for them either. Pizza is much better at several places within 1/2 mile. Trio and Little Cucci's are much better taste.

I researched and gave them a try. It was a good choice and they will now be my go to place for pizza. The crust was soft and foldable. Thin layer of tomato sauce. Thick mozzarella cheese. I added parmigiana cheese, mushrooms, and onions. I ordered online and it was ready in about ten minutes.

First the food was good, no complaints there. However, in order to cram more tables into the shop the table width is very narrow for the size plates they serve. For a family of four we were constantly juggling plates. The waitress ignored us for the most part, my water ran dry three times, and I almost resorted to putting the empty plates on the floor to make room for the ones with food. Overall the evening was not an enjoyable experience for my family. In addition, ditch the TV. You are not a sports bar. For a family dinner I donât want to watch the news I want to talk to those around me without being constantly distracted by a TV.

... because you will need about three hours to eat here. That's a slight exageration, but the service was slow and inattentive and the food arrived even slower. Besides decent prices, I was unimpressed with anything else about the place. The order wasn't correct, and the promised fix was so longing coming (20+ minutes) that others were finished eating and we just sent it back. Maybe we hit them on a bad night, but I'll probably never find out.
