We ordered two very different pizza's and they were both GREAT, delivered hot and pretty fast for a Friday dinner. I love pizza and am particular about it --- this place is GOOD.

Me and a business associate ran in there for a quick lunch. The waiter was awesome. The menu was simple yet full of options. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, it was amazing. They had a cucumber salad that was very refreshing. The prices were in par with your standard lunch menu. They do a have good size bar.Tim, We are very happy you enjoyed your lunch! The Ruben is definitely a favorite. Hope to see you back soon.

Took the family for a holiday dinner on the Sunday before Christmas. The bar area was busy but the restaurant not so much. Our server was great -- very polite. Can't remember her name. Like the ambiance and the overall menu. One of us got the ribs (very good) and two got burgers (also good). Husband and I got a spinach salad (it has asparagus on it -- bit odd). But the dressing was good. However, the pizza was a disappointment. The crust had no taste or seasonings and the sauce tasted something out of the frozen food section at the grocery store. Very disappointing. We ate it because we were hungry. Will try it again but order something else. Based on the pizza I only gave it 3 stars.

Authentic homemade Italian Pasta & oven brick pizza coupled with an amazing wine bar.
Very good service. Great food: fettuccini alfredo with a wonderful sauce, chicken piccata, and veal saltamboca. Chocolate bread pudding and cremé bruleé for dessert. Only drawbacks: it was very loud - too loud for much conversation - and cold where we were seated near the door.

As our fave Italian local restaurant, we brought family here, that were in from out of town. The restaurant had broken a/c, but the place was packed as always, and still always the friendly service and excellent dinner! One of my favorite things is I can always get spaghetti squash with meals, and everything is amazing! The menu is huge, something for everyone and so many favorite dishes it's hard to count!!! Greek pasta, all of the Saltimbocca dishes, soups, appetizers! Waiting for fall and their butternut squash soup. which tastes absolutely amazing and like a cheddar broccoli!

My family loves this place. Its one of those places that you LOVE, then eventually forget about and comeback to and rediscover it. The food is excellent. The DC metro area is a hard place to live when it comes to friendliness, and is hard to find a place that you feel truely welcome to come to, and come back to. The food is great, and service has always been consistent, and atmosphere is great here. I'd recommend to any local to come here to get away from the norm of the area.

Went there with the 25 year Mrs for Valentines day. Have to say they have great gnocchi one of my favorites. Portion was big and tasty. The bread they serve with the meal is very very good. Skip the salad not worth the price. The Bruschetta is worth the price. The Mrs liked her chicken parm. The meals are pricey but the size portion are big. The fly in the ointment is this place doesn't take gift cards or debit cards. Time for management to get with the 21st century...Sheeze

Correct taste, flavor, mouth feel and blend of materials that results in a good, wholesome chew & ability to slurp down the tomato cheese mix if you want to, try to avoid peak periods or you will wait.

Ciao Osteria is an authentic Italian eatery featuring delicious entrees and Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas made completely from scratch. Our goal is to serve true traditional Italian recipes made with the freshest, most authentic ingredients available, whil
Friends were hyped about the food here, but we werenât that impressed. The veal Marsala was covered in a sticky brown gravy. I couldnât detect the flavor of Marsala wine that gives this dish its signature flavor. The veal was served with spaghetti covered in the same gravy. Also, I thought the veal could have been pounded to tenderize it. My wife said her manicotti was okay, but not wow-worthy. She felt it was overly salted and undercooked (not as creamy as expected). Maybe this is Osteriaâs recipe, but it wasnât to my wifeâs liking. The highlights were the side salads and rolls served with olive oil for dipping. Finally, I think Iâm spotting a healthy trend. Three restaurants where we dined recently did not have salt and pepper on the table. If itâs a trend, itâs a good one, because I know I would have sprinkled salt on a few things, probably out of habit. And we all know that Americans eat too much sodium. Our friends shared a wood-fired thin-crust pizza and loved it.

If you are from NY, this is one of the places where you can eat pizza. It's not identical but it's the closest you'll find in VA. And you can get the Sicilian style (my favorite) here which is hard to find in VA and it's pretty good too.
