We met a large contingent of out of town and local family here for dinner on a Saturday night and made reservations for 25 on the same day. They blocked us a small room in the back and accommodated all of us on short notice. My Shrimp and Lobster Fettuccini was delicious ($23). Our server was efficient and kept our drinks filled. Parking is $5 in the garage.

Rocco's is a family style Italian restaurant, owned and operated by the Juliano family since 1977. Our pizza, pasta and salads are made fresh everyday with pride and joy along with the best ingredients we can find to provide the ultimate authentic Italian
I found this place to have terrible and rude service. And really impatient. And it seems they have had some serious problems with health inspections. Check out the state of Virginia's restaurant inspections documents on Rocco's. Why didn't you ask for the manager or me the owner, I am here every night, so we could address the problem? If my service is rude, why not tell me so I know who to hold accountable instead of being a jerk on yelp or trip adviser?? We always take care of our guest if they have a problem which is very rare. We have been in business for 40 years to attest for it. And in 40 years we have never had a major problem with the health department and have never failed an inspection, that's an impeccable record thank you! Obviously your a friend of one of the many new guy competitors. Good Luck!Owner, Rocco

This offshoot of Listrani's on MacArthur Blvd. is, in our opinion, just as good (and that's pretty awesome). Delicious pizza and Italian food offerings. We have tried the fried Calamari, Scallops with Pasta, and of course, their amazing pizzas. We opted for the Make Your Own - which has a tremendous selection of mouthwatering toppings on your choice of crust. You can load up a pizza and still not break the bank. Salads, antipasti and pasta dishes are substantially portioned -- and the subs are really authentic, freshly prepared to your spec/likes and superb excellent. Haven't tried the soups, but neighbors swear by them. Desserts are crazy good. These people really care about the food they offer. Very casual dining experience inside or out, yes and they deliver.

Friends had told us this was the best pizza in McLean so we expected more. Our white pizza was okay but not great. The delivery area is limited.

CafeOggi, THE Italian restaurant in McLean, has infused since 1991, an authentic culture full of vibrant flavors and colorful sophistication into McLean by formulating ingenious variations of house concocted recipes
Cafe Oggi's offerings are what you would expect in a traditional Italian restaurant. Interestingly, for the meat offerings there are no beef dishes on the dinner menu, just 2 chicken and 2 veal. This is not a criticism, just an observation. Every meal we have had there was good but not necessarily memorable. The service can sometimes be a bit pretentious. Nonetheless, the atmosphere is suitable for a nice night out in a quiet environment with white table cloths.Thank you very much for your time.We always appreciate constructive criticism. We take it seriously.A menu change is already including more meat dishes : Lamb Ossobuco, Beef Tenderloin.Hope to see you soon, again and againRenato A. Come and enjoy the finest Italian Restaurant in McLean. We serve only the freshest and most authentic Italian cuisine in the area.
You can enjoy this Italian restaurant with your family and friends for lunch and dinner in McLean in nearby DC. Moderately priced and easily accessible with ample parking, this family friendly restaurant is laid back and unassuming. I had the Veal in Marsala wine sauce and mushroom and what a delectable dish it was. My wife had a simple Tomato with Mozzarella salad and she was delighted. Service was impeccable. The best way to ensure a table in lunch or dinner is to call and make a reservation. If not, prepare to wait in a queue for 15 to 20 minutes.

Living in Mclean, I try to patronage our local businesses. My husband suggested a sushi place, I suggested Dal Grano for home made pasta. He had delicious lentil soup, we even got a take home. I ordered pasta with bolognese sauce and a side of meatballs. They brought white pasta and a side of meatballs in a little sauce...NOT what I ordered. AND the meatballs were cold in the middle. I sent it back and after waiting a while, I got the correct rigatoni with Bolognese sauce and my side order meatballs now warm. After waiting, I wasn't quite as hungry so I ate ONE meatball and LESS than half of my pasta. I asked to take the rest home. I usually like to pack my own and should have. The waiter put the 2 meat balls in a SMALL container, 3 rigatoni pasta noodles and THREW OUT THE REST OF MY DINNER THAT I TOLD HIM I WAS TAKING HOME FOR TOMORROW'S LUNCH. REALLY? REALLY? WHO DOES THIS...THROWS OUT MY PAID FOR MEAL. We have been inconvenience and although when we called we were offered a refund...this we now have to monitor our CC bill...more work for us, for a ridiculous decision to throw out MY food. WE WILL NOT BE BACK! Too many other choices in this area for such lame decision. BTW, any grocers sell fresh homemade pasta and Balducci's own Marinara among other sauces are great. Saute a bit of fresh garlic and basil in evoo and add their sauce and you have your own HOMEMADE pasta and sauce. Much more economical too. AND Mclean Family restaurant has great soups. Bye, Bye Dal Grano!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Located in the heart of McLean Square, Assaggi Osteria is a neighborhood staple for upscale, regional Italian cuisine. Adjacent to the refined osteria, Assaggi Pizzeria offers Neapolitan pizzas and small plates in a casual, modern setting. Both concepts o
The main restaurant is fine but the so-far hidden gem is the pizzeria attached! I had their salame piccante which featured a spicy salami, tomatoes, mozzarella, and bell peppers - I asked for onions as well. The crust was a superb Neapolitan style with bubbly edges and enough firmness to support the toppings. The Chianti I had with it was perfectly matched. This was my first visit but certainly wonât be the last.

About a week ago I attended a wedding and reception for my neighbor's daughter. The venue was their back yard and there were 123 attendees. The catering was exclusively done by Pulcinella Restaurant and the food was delivered in a timely manner. It was fresh, hot and included everything from appetizers, pasta dishes and an entree of chicken marsala. It was by far the best food I've had at a wedding. The owner of Pulcinella was there to supervise, making sure everything was perfect. There was plenty of food for everyone and the Pulcinella staff went from to table to be sure everyone was satisfied The bride and the groom and their parents praised the entire catering event.I heard nothing but compliments from several attendees, some of which now plan to use Pulcinella as their catering for future events. Bravissimo to Pulcinella .
