I've had Panda Express food in airports but that was a couple if years ago. Inexpensive food and large servings. This drive-thru/eat-in restaurant was a totally different experience. The orange chicken did not have the right citrus flavor. The beef and broccoli tasted metallic and had a weird texture for the beef. The lo mein was dried out. The fortune cookie was OK.Conclusion: with all the good authentic Chinese restaurants in the area, there is no reason to buy corporate food, cooked by Caucasian teenagers!

It looks like a dive, but it was quite good. I had the sushi and it was quite fresh. Other's I dined with had the hibachi and it look awesome. Little bummed I didn't get that. but it's ok next time.
My husband is in culinary school and was recommended to try Sushi Aka. Itâs a 30 minute drive for us from Chesapeake and well worth it.The menu is original. Love the ambiance. The freshest sushi Iâve had in the area. The coconut curry rice and rockfish main entree was amazing. My husband had the assorted raw fish bowl and loved it. The best was the strawberry napoleon wonton for dessert. We canât wait to go back.

I have been here twice, once eating in another time for pick up.Service while eating in was ok. Wait staff is not too attentive. Food was good.Placed a take out order about a month after eating in. The order was not correct, discovered the missing food when I got home... too much trouble to go back. Not sure I will go back to eat in or take out. I liked the food, but the service is an atmosphere is not great.

I've dined in and had takeout. The food is good and the price is about average for Japanese cuisine. I've eaten there a quite a few times when I've been in town.

This place is tucked in a bit in a shopping plaza, but look for it! I had the lemongrass chicken with noodles and salad. It was perfect...My wife had the shrimp pho. Service was quick and the food was delicious. The only thing that kept it from being 5 stars is that our server disappeared without explanation, and another appeared. Also, there was a mess on one of the tables that spilled over onto the floor and was there the entire time. Otherwise, it was quite good. The decor is nice; the restaurant is spacious. I can hardly wait to go back and try their glass noodles.

Sat at the bar and service was a bit slow to begin with (there was no one working at the bar). However, after I was acknowledged the orders were placed, the food came out very fast. Will visit again.

I love both sushi and pho so i was delighted I could get both and both were really good. Didn't have to wait to long, . Only wish I realized I could get both before I got their very good miso soup. Will be back for sure!

Casual Japanese restaurant for hibachi-grilled eats, specialty sushi rolls & exotic cocktails.
Made reservations for 3 for 6:30 on a Saturday. Seated at the hibachi close to 7:00. Drinks, salad, and soup served relatively quickly, but waited 10 more minutes for chef. Compared to the other chefs, ours was subdued. Diners at other stations were clapping to the rhythm of juggled fork and knife, had sake squirted in their mouths, over all just seemed to be entertained more. Rice was served first, but was cold by the time the meat and veggies were piled on. Food was good, but not great. And finally, had to wait 10, 15 minutes for waitress to bring bill.
