Itâs often said that one might go for the food but they return for the service. We had such an enjoyable experience here. The food, atmosphere and service were all impeccable. Itâs in a quiet section of town with free parking on the street. We had the samosa chat, shrimp curry and chicken tikka masala with jasmine rice and naan. So delicious and I Am one who likes it spicy so the waiter was happy to make mine Indian hot. It delivered without sacrificing the glorious flavor of well made Indian Cuisine. Our server was friendly, and very attentive during our visit. Even the small touches didnât go unnoticed. For instance, he brought fresh plates and utensils for each course and not only were the plates warmed but he placed them using a napkin so his hands didnât touch them. There are tons of restaurants here in this part of metro DC and we are only disappointed that we didnât discover this place sooner. We visited for lunch but look forward to having dinner here too. Canât say enough about a good restaurant that takes a lot of pride in what they do. The phone booth is a neat touch too!

Every so often, we in the office get the hankering for sushi. Zento is our go-to place on those days. They have a few bento-box specials at lunch, and a few sushi combo specials, as well as the full a la carte sushi menu. We've never had a bad lunch here. It can get crowded fast (we try to arrive about 11:50) and when full, it is quite loud (no sound-absorbing surfaces on the walls or ceiling.) But delish, and with friendly & attentive staff!

An exquisite evening to celebrate our anniversary was supported by the delightful food of Nasime! The fixed price menu delights from beginning to end and is reflective of seasonal food. I loved the noodle soup with clams and duck. The broth was so flavorful. My husband loved the sashimi perfectly fresh. We both loved the blood orange sorbet. Our waitress was very sweet and gave us a champagne split for our dessert. Nasime is small so definitely call for reservations. You want be disappointed. Itâs as good as any Japanese restaurant Iâve visited, even those in Japan!

Was here for late dinner after arriving into DCA on a evening flight. Was staying at a nearby hotel and this was one of the few restaurants still open within short walking distance after 9 pm (they close at 10). Was pleasantly surprised at the choice of different Asian dishes and honestly skeptical if any one restaurant can do Japanese, South East Asian and Chinese all in the right way. Ordered the curry puff (very good - reminds me of the ones from Singapore - not found anywhere else here in the US) and dumplings (ordinary, not bad). Did not venture to try any other dishes. Service was good and prompt. Will return for a quick bite. Food is reasonably priced.

Went there with some colleagues. I ordered a Tom Yum soup and Ka Pow. Tom Yum was ok but Ka Pow was quite good.+ The food was good.+ The portions very good size - I struggled to finish the soup and Ka Pow with rice.+ The restaurant has a great location - closest to the waterfront among all the restaurants around.+ Great views from first floor seatingWould I go there again? If I really want just Thai food, yes, otherwise there are many places around to try.

I literally ached for sushi one evening after business meetings. I needed something fresh yet light on the stomach. My body called for protein, and not the four-legged kind. The TripAdvisor app showed Momo only a five-minute walk from my hotel, so off I went in search of satisfaction. I arrived right about 6 PM, a kind of in-between time for most restaurants in Alexandria. The dinner crowds would show up soon. The sushi bar was empty, so I gladly accepted a seat. Chef Sam and his assistant worked in a rhythm to deliver the best quality fish in style. I had a front-row seat.I ordered tako (octopus), yellowfin belly, tuna belly, and shrimp nigiri style, and a special snapper as sashimi. The miso soup was tasty and energizing. A Sapporo beer complemented the lot of flavors and textures. For less than $40, you can feast like an emperor. Smiles and great service add up to a winning combination when you're jonesing for some Japanese hospitality in Alexandria.

A small place (26 seats), a simple one page menu. Meat and vegetarian, no seafood. I enjoyed my first vegan pho ever, while a woman at the next table had raw beef slices with her pho. Tamarind rolls are a must â much better than the regular version. Vietnamese beer utterly forgettable. Fast, friendly service.

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, my fiance and had dinner here this week. Busy, always a good sign! Service was excellent from the minute we arrived till we left. The owner was at the door, greeting guests too.large menu. So many restaurants we've been to lately have...maybe...7 or 8 items on the menu and this is an extreme to limiting the choices. There are so many options here.since I haven't eaten meat or chicken for 40 years, I knew i would find plenty of choices. Decided on the Vegetarian Thali...so many items that i loved: paneer tikka, vegetable pakora and this incredible sauce to put over the rice. couldn't even finish it all!fiance thoroughly enjoyed his Non Veg Thali too. great way to sample so many items! We will definitely return. such reasonable prices
