The food here, at best, would make the worst fast food restaurant taste like a five star restaurant. However, if you've come here to socialize and drink, this is for you. I have come here (close to home) several times and it is always busy.

We had finished the half marathon at the nearby winery and needed a place to relax and have lunch with a friend. Located right by the school complex, there was only one other table occupied when we arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday. However, there was a festival with beer and food trucks just on the other side of the schools so I am sure it was taking away their business. My wife had a burger & fries; I had the chicken salad sandwich with onion rings (good onion rings!). Parts of the building are historic but the back end is modern with no personality but the bar area was cute and welcoming.

Looking for a place off the beaten path for lunch when we found this unique place ! The staff is very fresh and helpful not only with choosing what to order ,, but with the history of the area. We had the Alaskan Fish which was crunchy with just the right amount of breading with Sautéed Squash and Onions then we split a huge serving of the Brea d Pudding with Bourbon Sauce ! Yummy. We would definitely eat her if in the area again !

We were looking for a place to eat along our wine tasting journey and came across this one in a rather small town. We started with a large soft pretzel that was warm, soft, and delicious. Lunch choices included a strawberry spinach salad, crab cake sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, and kids cheeseburger. All were tasty, especially the crab cake. It is made in house and my cousin said it was one of the best she has tasted. Very reasonably priced & casual atmosphere, with friendly quick service.

Located right on the Chickahominy Lake, the view was beautiful. I was there for a group luncheon. The menu is varied, having breakfast, appetizers & sides, lunch, dinner, pizza and kid's menus. Coupled with the specials, anyone can get a delicious meal extremely reasonably priced. Our server, Ruth, really helped make the time together even more relaxing by serving drinks as peopled arrived, explaining specials, and remembering who ordered what when serving. She took pictures as requested by our group. even suggesting taking some outside on the patio with the lake behind us. Located on Ed Allen's Boats & Bait, there are so many amenities: pontoon & Jon boat rentals, fishing, supplies for boats & fishing, tackle shop, boat services, boat ramp, and so much more. So worth driving down the gravel road to the restaurant and beautiful lake. Ed Allen has a campground and motel rooms not too far from the restaurant.

We wanted to try the full service restaurant at Rosie's Gaming Emporium in New Kent County and we were pleasantly surprised. Our server Erik made excellent recommendations and made our visit special. He was knowledgeable about the food and made sure that our food sensitivities were addressed. We loved the salmon and the chicken entrees. The buttermilk pie was amazing as well. We will be returning again!Thank you so much! We are glad you enjoyed your meal, your pie looks delicious :)
Exceptional food in a relaxed atmosphere. There are many cuisines to choose from in an experience that exemplifies the style and service you'd expect.
Love the gaming, racing and all employees especially Kelllie at the kitchen! Love all all this back at Colonial Downs. Thank you for the kind message!

We visited this recently opened restaurant last week. Outstanding food, I would like to write a review.for you.
My 2nd visit & brought my husband this time for a late lunch after a visit to Berkeley Plantation. Great food, my quesadilla was very full of chicken (but a bit too much cheese for me) & my husbandâs club sandwich was good. They sell COKE products which is always a plus for me. The place is adorable with incredible near ancient hard wood floors, and a really super ambiance that shouts âhistoric!â As soon as you arrive at the unusual front door, you know this is a neat place.
My wife and I went there for Wednesday burger night. We had eaten there several times before when it was owned by the golf course management company. The golf course and clubhouse/restaurant was sold the the Brickshire Homeowners Association and reopened. It might have just be startup missteps but I ordered a medium-rare burger and it was overcooked to the point of being dry. My wife ordered a medium burger and it was barely cooked; almost completely raw and unedible. The restaurant was busy and the noise level was so high that conversation was impossible. We won't go back.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Patsy's. Little Mom and Pop restaurants with home cooking like this are hard to find. Meatloaf, yeast rolls (like they served in school back in the day), and sides were all great. The restaurant was slammed, but Patsy did a great job of getting everything to her guests quickly! Thanks for a very enjoyable lunch.
