McLean (/məˈkleɪn/ mə-KLAYN) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fairfax County in Northern Virginia. McLean is home to many diplomats, businessmen, members of Congress, and high-ranking government officials partially due to its proximity to Washington, D.C. and the Central Intelligence Agency. It is the location of Hickory Hill, the former home of Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert F. Kennedy. It is also the location of Salona, the former home of Light-Horse Harry Lee, the Revolutionary War hero. The community had an estimated total population of 53,673 in 2015, according to estimates prepared by the United States Census Bureau. It is located between the Potomac River and the town of Vienna. McLean is known for its luxury homes and its nearby high-end shopping destinations: the Tysons Corner Center and the Tysons Galleria. The two McLean zip codes - 22101 and 22102 - are among the most expensive ZIP Codes in Virginia and the United States. In 2018, data from the American Community Survey revealed that McLean was the 3rd wealthiest city in the United States, based on its poverty rate of 2.6% and its median household income of $190,258.

Fresh & delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner & catering, we're dedicated to keeping you happy in your Corner of the world.
Stopped for dessert after having dinner at another restaurant that was nearby. The chocolate baby bundt cake was heavenly. (And only $2.99). Fresh flavors and just the right amount of chocolate and frosting. Service was prompt and friendly. No complaints. Will visit again.

This place is our go to place for family affairs. We have as few as four and as many as 30 plus. I enjoyed the steaks even though I did not order one. The steak was so large we shared. We will return.

I dined twice at this restaurant. On both occasions, the food was delicious ( rockfish the first time, and trout the second time). The service is excellent, much better than what is usually offered in hotel restaurants. The chef is inventive: try the spread made of bacon, brown sugar and honey on your slice of bread and you'll experience what I mean. Also ask for the raspberry mousse: it looks like an exotic purple fruit and its taste matches the look. The restaurant decor is modern and pleasant. Overall, it's worth a trip.Thank you for your review. We appreciate you dining twice with us and it is fantastic to reach that you found the food to be delicious. Your comment on the service is appreciated as the team works hard to make this impression with all of our patrons. Chef Philip Thompson is very creative and we are so lucky to have him. The bacon jam is an absolute favorite of many of our guests. Thank you again for your review and for dining with us. We hope to welcome you back for visit #3 soon. As always, I invite anyone reading my responses to contact me anytime.Happy dining - Kevin B. [email protected]

The steaks at this place are just wonderful (there were 3 of us and we all had different steaks). However the red wine we had was far too cold. We were told it was stored at 45 degrees but it was way too cold to get the best from the wine. Great place, great food ... but PLEASE get the wine right too!

Certainly felt that we were eating with the "upper crust" at this popular place in Tyson's Corners. Expense account or lobbyist prices combined with extraordinary food. The seafood tower is a wonder to behold. We ate lightly off the appetizer menu. I had crab cakes and my husband enjoyed the Norwegian salmon. Too rich for my blood.

Our family participated in the annual Rise Against Hunger McLean Meal Packaging event. After our shift we (three adults and two children) decided to have a late lunch together. One of the event organizers recommended McLean Family Restaurant. Since it was mid afternoon, the restaurant was not overly crowded and we were seated immediately. We were promptly served. We ordered conventional fare - both children had hotdogs. One of the kids accidentally messed up her hotdog which was promptly replaced and one of the adults tipped over his coffee while attempting to assist the young child. The server responded immediately and saved the lunch. While not fancy, the food was very good, the service excellent, and a great value. I recommend the this restaurant highly.

Simply amazing ... as always! This place never disappoints. It has something for everyone ... and it is ALWAYS done right. I have tried virtually everything on the menu ... more than once ... and it is consistently delicious. And the service is always there, hovering at just the right time, and predictably professional. And the decor and atmosphere is lively but intimate. And all this in a Mall? Yes!

The restaurant is not the quietest place to share conversation (you can ask for a booth which would be better than a table in the middle of the room). The service and the food are always excellent.Hope to see you soon

I went in for happy hour last week to see if they improved anything in the last 6 months. Unfortunately they did not. My order was wrong. The bartender really didn't want to hear it. Then he kept trying to take my plate before I finished. It was so bad the ladies next to me started laughing and said they don't come in often because the customer service is poor.Sad because it is close to my office and home...

What a difference a year makes. On my birthday a year ago, my wife and I went to the Woodmont Grill in Bethesda, MD and had an absolutely awful and disappointing experience; repeated on our anniversary in January, but never again. Today to celebrate my birthday, we went to the Seasons 52 in the Tysons Corner shopping center. The experience was a 10 on a scale of 10: wish for a happy birthday by the receptionist; birthday card with warm words; a glass of sparkling wine each, complimentary of course; and free dessert for both. Our entrees -- scallops for my wife and shrimp and grits for me were perfect. Our server, Martha, was warm and attentive. The ambience was great with a low noise level and a quiet booth. The value was good as the entrees were priced reasonably. The manager recognized my birthday and came by and wished me a happy birthday and chatted a bit. All in all, I don't know how this dining experience could have been better. We will return again and again.
