Had dinner on a damp torrential downpour night. The restaurant was freezing, air conditioning way too high. However, the food was great, as were all the sides, especially the macaroni and cheese. Ate a good amount and took the rest home for another meal. The offerings were many, with a special for shrimp with the steak. I opted for the 6 oz sirloin, baked potato, salad and mac and cheese. Everything was very good except the cold environment.

We're known for wood-fired pizzas, mini burgers, fresh salads and chef-inspired entrées, like pan-seared sea bass and oven-roasted filet mignon. It's American bistro fare, crafted from high quality ingredients with a chef at the helm in every kitchen.
The three places my wife and I frequent most are Carrabba's Italian Grill, Firebirds Wood Fire Grill, and Matchbox. All three have one thing in common. You can consistently count on them for good food, awesome service, and a friendly environment. I understand that Matchbox now has an all you can eat Sunday brunch so I know I will be back soon. On this visit, my wife and I were taking out a friend who was staying with us short term as she has just moved in to the DC area. We started with an order of the calamari as an appetizer. At my suggestion, she ordered shrimp and grits which are amazing! My wife and I split a pizza as there is always enough for two. We went with the half Matchbox Meatlovers and half Fire & Smoke. We topped it off with some delicious house wine. Looking forward to returning from Germany to head right over to that Sunday brunch!

Family owned and operated. Est. 2013. Serving fresh, home-made cuisine and desserts from family recipes. Secluded outdoor seating while the weather permits and cozy indoor seating by a warm fire during the colder seasons.
After reading the many reviews and seeing the high ratings for this place over the years, we decided to give it a try for lunch. Being the foodies that we are, we had high expectations for service, venue/décor, freshness, menu, food/preparation and the overall experienceâ¦Regarding service â It was decent, definitely not great. We did appreciate the team approach to service and as such, our ice teas stayed nicely topped-off, but our primary server had issues tracking our courses (forgetting which course we were on, what was next, etc) and with timing the delivery of our food. Everyone was friendly.Regarding Venue â It looks interesting in there⦠Outside looked really nice, we would have preferred the outside, had the weather been better. Resembles more of an outdated diner on the inside with a sagging plastic tile ceiling and faux-stone block wall panels. Seating was a little cramped, but comfy while we were dining. The menu is really nice⦠they have plenty of intriguing items on the appetizer, entrée, sandwich, salad and dessert menu. Prices are decent, especially for their lunch items. Accompaniments are perfectly selected as well.As for the food⦠Very fresh and nicely done. The bistro steak could have had a better application of (or more) seasoning, fortunately the red wine reduction really helped. The preparation on it was perfect. Crab cakes are amazing! Very fresh and no filler! Their homemade tarter sauce was outstanding and perfectly accompanied the crab cakes. The entrée portion is huge and very filling too. Their mashed cauliflower was outstanding and the brussel sprouts we good, very tasty, slightly too much butter though. Save room for dessert, theyâre HUGE and Very Nice!!Overall â We all really liked the food and would definitely return, we just had higher expectations since the reviews were so consistently high and there were so many to legitimize them. Really like the quaint setting and the âold townâ style and setting.

Always looking for good food and places to eat while we ride. Located on Prince William Pkwy we stopped for Sunday breakfast and hit right at a rush. Was able to seat immediately at the counter. The staff super friendly, and always ready to serve. Wife ordered the French toast and I went for the breakfast platter(what a fool I was). The French toast wad delicious, very light and flavorful. The platter was 2 eggs, 2 sausage, home fries, toast, and the French toast. The food was excellent, cooked just the way your mom might or me. A cozy little place wth friendly people and guests. Plenty of food, good coffee, good prices. On my list to return.

Famous Dave's is a legendary family BBQ restaurant with excellent catering services available in Woodbridge and the surrounding areas.
We love this place! We have eaten here several times this month and last month and the food and service are consistently awesome! Last night we had Ms. Tennessee as our server and she took really great care of us. Also, we really love the *punch* (for adults). So delicious! Chopped pork sandwich, Brisket, BBQ Chicken have all been delicious. We will keep coming back! Also, they have G-free options and a book listing out allergy stuff for those suffering with intolerance issues or allergies. Super helpful!

I have visited this place twice. Unfortunately, itâs freezing inside and uncomfortable. The food wasnât that great. I intentionally think about everywhere else I have an option to go. To be honest, I think of how cold it was and the lackluster service more than what I ate. The first time I remember not liking the dish and the second wasnât memorable for me. Less than average Joeâs?Hello,I am disappointed to hear that you have not enjoyed dining with us. Please accept my apology. While I have had no other complaints about temperature inside our restaurant, I am sorry that it was uncomfortable for you.Feedback from our guests is very important to us so I am hoping that you'll reach out to me with any specifics on what you have ordered and what you did not enjoy. I'd like to share that with the Head Chef.If you will reach out to me directly at [email protected] I'd like to try and make things right for you. When you do respond, please cross-reference your name here.Thank you.

This is my sixth review of Firebirds. I continue to come here because this place has quality locked in. My only negative review concerning their sixth anniversary bash was quickly handled by management and during the next special occasion, the fixes were obvious. They take your feedback and actually do something to make it right if you had a bad meal or negative experience. This review is actually for three separate ones as my wife and I frequent this place quite often. In fact, she went this past Friday, 26 Jul, while I am TDY to Germany. During our first visit in April, Lori was our server. She was awesome. My wife had the seared ahi tuna that we believe is the best in the area. It is an appetizer, but she has it as a meal. It is that good. I had the 16 ounce prime rib. Now, that's a lot of meat. It was perfectly cooked and very tasty. We topped our meal off with several glasses of the house Chardonnay. Just a week later, we returned. This time Courtney took outstanding care of us. We went all out this time. I had the filet and lobster with a baked potato while my wife selected the filet with bleu cheese (gorgonzola) topping. Again, sheer perfection is the best way to describe our experience. Then, in May, we dined there again with Courtney taking care of us. This time it was for Memorials Day to honor those who served. I opted for the salmon and my went back to her seared ahi tuna. Remember, my previous comment about this ahi tuna being the best. We completed this special day with a bottle of Firebirds Chardonnay. I will never tire of this place and will really miss when we move to Germany. Give this place a chance and become a regular. They have one of the best happy hours in town!

Bahama Breeze has great atmosphere, comfortable, inside and outside seating. The Island vibe is strong with this one. The music makes you want to dance. The menu options sound amazing. It's a bit on the pricey side and the food is average at best. If you're up for party, drinks and a good time, go for it! If you're in it for the food, after many attempts (drinks) I'm not impressed at all with the taste of their food. Not even the Paella, admirable attempt.

I always love visiting Wegmanâsâitâs like the Disneyland of grocery stores. I love the cheese section and can find exactly what I am looking for. I enjoy the sales on baking ingredients in November and December and stock up. Cashiers are always very efficient and good-tempered. That means a lot.

The menu has changed dramatically and for the better the manager was friendly and attentive and a professional. The bison was an excellent healthy choice that I truly enjoyed.
