We are a very friendly restaurant. Sit down, carry out whichever you'd like. Many of different types of sandwiches to choose from including breakfast sandwiches. We also offer a breakfast pizza, and many different lunch baskets. We serve breakfast all day
Beach Road Round Up is a new restaurant on the Island. We went there for Breakfast. Unfortunately, the day we ate there, their air conditioner was broken however, the employees directed us to the seat with the most air movement from the ceiling fans. I ordered an omelet. It was prepared as ordered. It came with fried potatoes and toast. They forgot my toast so when I asked for it, they only brought one piece. I thought that was odd however, maybe the kitchen didn't realize they forgot it and send me one slice of toast as an extra. I had to ask for extra butter as my toast was only buttered in the middle. It seems to be common for restaurants to serve toast this way but it is a pet peeve of mine. I want my toast buttered to the crust. The employees were very friendly and were up front with all of the customers about the lack of air conditioning. They have both inside and outside seating but it is all picnic tables. Unless you can get 2 tables across from each other, this is not a good place for a party of more than 4. Overall, the service and food were good and we would definitely go back.

We have been here for breakfast several times and it never disappoints. I recommend the French Toast and Turkey Sausage as well as the scrambled eggs and toast. My daughter enjoyed her omelet and my husband said the pancakes were great. We will definitely go back on our next trip.

Yes, it is a little touristy. Yes, it is a tad pricey. However, you will never be able to choose your waterside dining (beach, water, view, floating dock, etc.) This is a must do for families with children, families, and cocktail hour. The staff is busy, but friendly. The food is good. The music is good. You should not miss the Ropewalk. Bonus if Brian is your bartender!

Fun place for seafood. Very simple ambiance with tables, block paper, and LOTS of seafood everywhere. Good value for money compared with other places. My scallops were great. However the king crab legs for another in our group were not very fresh. This would be good with a big group and/or kids. Helpful staff--- and quick to serve.

Local Favorite Since 1973. Located in the Heart of Downtown Chincoteague. Oysters & Clams on the Half-Shell. Great place for Family Gatherings, Parties,& Meetings
We often stop on Chincoteague Island on our way south to Virginia Beach or SC. It is a nice place to take a break and walk on the beach. We stop here off season, March and October, as there are not too many tourists then.Don's restaurant has not much character BUT it has very good seafood. At this visit I had the oyster stew, which was very good. Perhaps it is not a stew but more of a soup. Eight plump oysters swimming in a delicate frothy broth.

Etta's Restaurant was a very enjoyable dining experience. The service was great and very fast. The Shrimp and Crab PotPie was Very Good. They have an extensive wine, liquor, and beer selection, although they only serve a minimum number of mixed drinks. The are open at 5P for Dinner Only Service.

...Surprise. Surprise. The ordering service was fast enough and our awesome tasting food came eventually and the wait for it was excruciating long...but WORTH IT! We'd go back for more without question, but learned a valuable lesson while we waited...those who called in their, got their food first...ahead of us walk-ins. The bread rolls melted in our mouths. The meats were delicious. Every thing was made from fresh. I look forward to eating their other sandwiches next time.

Dropped into The Village Restaurant based on Trip Advisor rating. Restaurant is very popular and we had a 20 min wait on an off-season Wednesday night. Atmosphere was simple but friendly. Service got off to a slow start but service was very friendly and helpful. We decided to get two appetizers, fried oysters and steamed clams, and share the seafood platter that included a dinner size portion of flounder, 4 scallops, oysters, clams, shrimp, crab imperial and a lobster tail! It was a huge portion of food that was more than enough for two people even without the appetizers. It was some of the freshest, tastiest seafood we ever had and we are seafood foodies. Donât miss the Village if youâre in Chincoteague.

For generations, the folks at AJ's have been passing down delicious seafood recipes from parent to child. We specialize in historically great seafood.
This was the restaurant we mostly ate at during our week on Chincoteague, and we were really happy with our meals every time. I had salmon, sauteed scallops, tuna, swordfish, and a mixed green salad as my five dinners here. Each was superb. As was dessert, when we had it. Ken and Dawn, who were our servers during various visits, were top notch. We're happy you enjoyed your meals with us during your time in Chincoteague, Matthew. It's wonderful you had such positive service experiences with Ken and Dawn. Looking forward to the next time you make it back our way!Your friends,AJ's Team
