We just stayed one night. Everything was clean in our room. Bed comfy and pillows soft. The shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was ok but we were the only guests staying that night so only a small amount on offer. It's a bit dark on the walk back from the restaurants so take a torch. The owners were warm and friendly. they did not speak English but we were able to make ourselves understood. It's a nice place to stay.

Charming country house of 55 m2, surrounded by woods, has a terrace, a facade clad in stone, sloping ceilings with beams and a rustic decoration. The living room features a fireplace, a sofa and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen includes a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and washing machine. There is a double bedroom and an attic with a single bed. Firewood is provided upon arrival. Views to the garden, to the mountain, to the river.
Very nice weekend in Soria's forest visiting our local Spanish friends! A quaint-looking complex of mountain cabins, not luxurious and rather rustic, but convenient and fairly priced nonetheless. Sybarites be warned: this is not quite your idyllic luxurious Swiss Alps getaway but worth your while if you are unpretentious and looking to have a relaxing time out in the woods. Perfect base camp to attempt beautiful hikes in the many, well marked, hike routes nearby. Nearly impossible to get lost unless you are a die-hard urbanite ... we had a friend-guide (a hardened cop) who got us lost though! The owners went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable in a large group and provided all necessary facilities, including a factory-sized built-in BBQ where you could very well roast a whole pig, if need be. Spectacular surroundings, ample gated outdoors for kids to roam around and safely play hide&seek. Just minor inconveniences like black sheep grazing around in the property with some mean looking rams!! Pillows weren't of the latex-kind, beds maybe small, but what can you expect in a down-to-earth property perfectly suited for a weekend away from it all? ... Very convenient for families, excellent grilled mushrooms hand-picked by owners Tito & Jose Andres, standing out from an hearty meal. A perfect family retreat!

This is a wee gem. It's low priced and well located. There isn't a restaurant actually in the hotel, but breakfast and other meals can be bought at it's place just across the road. The staff were very friendly with unlimited patience at my appalling Spanish. The rooms aren't big but as it's low cost I thought it great value.

This site is full of trees and little permanent dwellings (huts? shacks?) and has no parcelas as such. So on arrival we were told to go wherever we wanted and given a little map showing the electric points. They also lend you an adapter for a 10€ deposit as the system seems elderly and incompatible with modern sockets. However the electricity worked fine. Finding a spot took a bit of time as we drove around feeling puzzled - and saw others doing the same. Being low season and mid-week the advertised restaurant, supermarket and pool were closed, as was one of the 2 toilet blocks. Toilets and showers were absolutely fine unless you’re fussy about modernity. If you walk to the village (which is pretty), go through the gate opposite the campsite entrance and bear left. It’s a lovely walk and shorter than the dull road. Local dogs (a farm?) made a din at times during the night, as did owls but you can’t complain about owls! Chainsaws at 7.30am we could have done without but I doubt that’s regular. Restaurant is nice enough but the food not very exciting.

We stayed here for one night. The hotel is a little outdated but very clean and with good value for money. Breakfast is a bit simple. Good stay for a night in Vinueasa, which is a beautiful little town at the Ruta del Duero.

Hotel Alvargonzalez is located in Vinuesa, in the Pinares Altos area; an area considered the lung of Soria, the perfect place to escape and rest from the hectic life of the city. Our hotel is located in a building of Castilian architecture; we also have places to relax in, like our lovely terrace. Everything is ready for you to disconnect!
