Wonderful place
Reviewed By Ricardo RGreat location perfectly integrated with the nature! The Curral D’Avo is a four bedroom house, with everything you need to move away from the stressing life of the city. Located in the nice quiet village of Caçarelhos, which is only 15 min away from Miranda do Douro. It’s possible to refresh in the swimming pool, do a bit of hiking, ride a bike through the countryside, make a barbecue, or just relax...The breakfast it’s awesomely tasty!

H. R. Mrs. de Pereiras, is a tourist unit in rural environment with explicit and clear references to the imaginary of the popular and regional architecture of the area where it is inserted. All of its physical construction was thought and optimized in an integrated way, having as concern the maximum comfort.
One night stay in Vimioso.
Reviewed By hans-jaguarFor our second night on our trip through the North, we had chosen for the “Rural Hotel” in “Vimioso”. We had also made reservation for our evening meal with “The Fork” who had mentioned that by ordering with them we would get a 30% discount on the food, not on the drinks, so we took this option. The lady who runs the place and who is also responsable for the cooking was friendly, also the staff was friendly. The Rural hotel is on the mean road, the rooms are simple but clean and you have a car-park at your disposal on location. So we presented us for the evening meal, we had more or less no great choice, two way´s of “Cotfish” and “Steak or cottelets” – so my wife went for the cotfish and I went for the steak, it took some time before we got served, but this was no problem at all, just that the cotfish was not fresh as it should be and my steak was very salty, for the rest no problem, just simple food preparation. Then we went to pay the bill and it seems to be the owner from the hotel, and as usual we left on top of the bill the amount of 5 € as tipp for the waitress who was very friendly. But the owner took the Money and put it away, without giving the 5 € tipp to the waitress, and further no “Thank you” or even a good evening!!!! And we did not seen something mentioned from the “30% discount” on the food as was mentioned by “The Fork”. In the morning the breakfast was also very simple, and basic – to say something importante for us the fruityuice was “Limonade”. Our comment is that we will not return there and we will not recommend “The Fork”, as formel owners of a B&B we know what servisse means!!!
