Viljandi (Estonian pronunciation: [ˈʋilʲˑjɑnʲˑdi]; German: Fellin) is a town and municipality in southern Estonia with a population of 17,473 in 2013. It is the capital of Viljandi County. The town was first mentioned in 1283, upon being granted its town charter by Wilhelm von Endorpe. The town became a member of the Hanseatic League at the beginning of the 14th century, and is one of five Estonian towns and cities in the league. The once influential Estonian newspaper Sakala was founded in Viljandi in 1878.

Visited with a colleague after a long day and just wanted something to eat.Started with a Greek salad, which wasn't very Greek, but still quite good.The waiter the recommended the pork fillet, and we went with this recommendation, and I didn't regret this, especially the sauce was so very good, you could almost swim in it.Thoug the porkfillets where small and thin I still would recommend this dish, and if you're really hungry, just take a starter and a dessert as well, pricing here is vere reasonable.But remember, they do not accept credit cards

Cosy place that has so big selection of beers. Nice service, but other than beers they also have wide selection of hard liquors. Welcoming atmosphere and nice place!

We wanted to go to lokaal city for lunch, but when we came in the waitress was unpleasant, then we checked the menu and it was not really nice. We finally took just a drink and left. Although the interior looks kind of modern, the sofas were dirty. The toilets are nice and clean though.
