Industry meets culture in coastal Vigo, home to a massive fishing port plus ancient Roman ruins, neoclassical churches, and an authentic Galician old town. Beyond the city's urban beaches, the nature-rich Cíes Islands and Rías Baixas estuaries are both within easy reach.

Casa Señorial, located a few meters from one of the green lungs of Vigo, Castrelos with the Pazo Quiñones de León Museum as a colophon. Hotel O'Pazo is a family establishment, with single, double, triple and quadruple rooms, all equipped with private bathroom and amenities. It has free wifi throughout the establishment. The hotel has two gardens with different tree species and plants, given the exterior is a petfriendly hotel without charge. The hotel has a dining room for breakfast and a large room for events of all kinds. Breakfast is free with accommodation. Hotel O'Pazo is the closest hotel to the Álvaro Cunquiero hospital with the convenience of public transport a few meters away.
The Hotel O’Pazo is located in a suburban area about 4 km from Vigo close to the Camino Portuguese route. It is a beautifully renovated old building set in spacious gardens with a big fountain just inside the gate and a nice lawn and outdoor terrace with tables and chairs out in front. My room was up under the eaves in the attic on the 2nd floor (3rd for Americans). There is no lift but the lovely receptionist carried my suitcase up for me. The room had twin beds and a tight ensuite bathroom. Although it was quite small and had a skylight rather than a standard window the room was adequate for a night’s rest and very light due to the afternoon sun. Everything was clean and in good condition. There was also a long closed in balcony off the 1st floor (2nd for Americans) with comfortable seating areas. All this cost 34€ including a substantial breakfast. There was also a 3 course set menu dinner for 12€. I recommend the O’Pazo unreservedly. It makes a great stop on the Camino shortening what is otherwise an overlong day to Vigo and provides incredible value.

Friendly staff, reasonably spacious rooms and with a restaurant serving a la carte (but fairly basic) food. The hotel is literally within walking distance to the airport (because I did!) and is close to other major roads. Breakfast is quite decent: no frills, but plenty! The only gripe I would have is that the dividing walls between rooms seem to be very thin (easy to hear conversations in the adjacent room), and the wifi signal is weak. Other than that, as a stop-off on the way somewhere, I would return for sure.

As a well seasoned international traveller having stayed in 4* & 5* hotels throughout the world I was rather sceptical about booking an unknown motel, online, during a recent, spur of the moment business trip to Vigo, as none of the better known hotels had vacancies, I arrived believing that I'd made a big mistake!! The motel is minutes from Vigo airport, itself not being in the centre of town, and the area at first glance seemed slightly industrial and not the prettiest part of the beautiful Gallicia, on first appearances the motel has a 'rent by the hour' aspect!! It may well be a location for discerning businessmen to take their extramarital acquaintances, of that I can't be certain but, and a big but, the rooms are excellently furnished, incredibly clean and tidy and the bed is one of the best I have ever slept in. My usual hotel in Vigo wanted 287€ for the night but they were full, Motel Aeropuerto charged me 50€ and to be honest, everything from standards to service in the unstarred motel knocked spots off the better known 4* and 5* hotels in all of Gallicia. As well as having a private car parking garage joined to the room, a matress to die for and extremely clean, crisp bed linen the motel affords you the privacy of a secluded villa in the countryside (we even brought our 3 cats with us and although the motel doesn't officially accept pets, they knew and a blind eye was turned!) In summary, if you are travelling to vigo for business or pleasure, I highly recommend this motel, it's a hidden treasure!!

Gracias!!

It lies right at the heart of the city of Vigo, near the train station and bus stop (which leads to the airport), Hostal Puerto de Vigo is one of the best choices to enjoy your stay in Vigo.If you want a quiet hostal with a friendly family atmosphere, this is your hostal. With a total of 6 now renovated rooms, in Hostal Puerto de Vigo you will find the best quality and service. Come and experience the charm of the city of Vigo and its surroundings.
Lar Atlantica offers extremely good value for the money. The rooms are clean and minimalist but the real draw is the owner, Elena. She was friendly and accommodating and went out of her way to help us out with train and bus schedules and even did my laundry, which I desperately needed, for only 5 euros. I highly recommend staying here.

We were on the Camino, the walk from a Ramallosa was on the coast and very nice until we got to the water front in Vigo when we left the park setting and were on hard pavement and sidewalks. We should have picked up a cab. There is a huge hill between you and the property. Walk around it to the left and save a lot of energy. The hotel staff was not in evidence when we arrived but quickly showed up. 3 of us checked into our rooms and went looking for a beer. The bar next door was closing when we tried to sit down (4PM) so we went across the street to "the burger joint". They had good beer (all beer in Portugal and Spain is "good", but Portuguese wines are incredible and cheap!) The burgers were only OK. Once we had all check into the Pension, we had no problem accessing it again. It was quiet even though full and our rooms were pretty good. There wasn't a breakfast. We went looking for the train as we were slightly behind schedule and wanted to get to Pontevedre. The cafe at the train station had a number of good selections of food.

This hostel is the best place to stay in Vigo. Very close to port, shops and restaurant. Best of all, the host Marita is so nice. You won't find any one nicer than her. She'll definitely make your stay pleasant.

Found this on our way to the train station. Lovely toast and very nice coffee made for a perfect light breakfast. While the place is simply decorated the quality of the food, drink and service made this our regular for the rest of our stay!

I have been stayed in the hotel for 3 night. Everything was good, espesially friendly staff, hotel location and coffe. Perfect for Poles, Russians, Ukranians, Belarussians visitors, because not many people speak English in Vigo and when we need the help with negotiations on urgent poster printing in the printing house by phone Svetlana was our interpreter. Thank you very much! Room was clean, there is a lift (elevator) in the hotel.
