Stopped here on a guided tour for lunch and the service was really bad, we were ignored for the majority of the hour and a half we were in there apart from to take our order, it took a hour for seafood fried rice to come out with no apology or acknowledgement we were there, it was just really weird because we felt like we had done something wrong because the staff were unfriendly and obviously ignoring us. However the food was really good but the experience was already ruined and we wouldn't go back.I'm so sorry , my staff nonchalance. I hope you can forgive. But i so sorry

Nice place, clean and comfortable room. We didn't get the room in the hostel itself (instead in the neighboor building) which was actually very good, because next to greencatba is currently a construction site that starts very early. Food was good and staff friendly (but a bit unorganized and slow). We booked a halong/ lan ha bay tour for 20$ with the hotel owner, which was very nice. Make sure though when you start because we had other participants in our group that had to change the boat a few times. The kajaking is sadly there were everyone else is going and the monkey island trek at the time when everyone else is there too. Bring sport shoes if you wanna hike up and be aware of monkeys, dont feed them and dont touch them.

Itâs a nice place, rooftop. But they barely speak English and couldnât get lots our orders right. Someone ordered chicken fried rice, they brought chicken with fries. Vege curry was more like vege soup. I had a spicy Sichuan tofu, again SPICY! It came with mushroom and bell pepper, I donât think they know how to cook this dish at all, itâs more sweet than what itâs supposed to be. Frankly, save your energy and find somewhere else instead of walking up all the way uphill and climb 5 flies of stairs to the rooftop.

The beers are cheap but the staff is terrible with no etiquettes and no respect for their clients.There is literally no concept of customer service. It's not like the finest bar in Asia but the staff, and the expectations are low in general.But trust these guys to take it to a new low.We had issues with our bill and the waiting staff were extremely rude and disrespectful. Definitely a no go !

Followed the recommendation here and was quite surprised to get such bad fasting food. Food in Vietnam was generally really good but here I cudnt finish my meal. We ordered crab and fish. Fish was half cooked and was bitter. Crab was sweet and overcooked. Portion was small but pricey. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Decent food offering and no more. Service was a bit hurried and cold. The food we ordered tasted mediocre. But given it was the tet festival we were stuck for choices. Ordered food and drinks and we started playing pool. Very nice ambience, cool place to hang out but they forgot our food!! We were very hungry and the food didn't arrive despite waiting an hour. The place was slightly crowded so we assumed that it was gonna be slow but we asked the waiters they admitted that they forgot to tell the chef our order. Very upset wit the experience.

So happy with the quality of food offered at this restaurant. The staff are friendly and professionl and the atmosphere is nice and chilled.The dood is sensational with fresh spring rolls being top on our list as well as the tastiest big burger i have had in ages.We liked our dinner the first night so we brought friends for the second and were not disappointed. We are a local company with restaurant, coffee shop, bungalow, bar. We stay at in Cat Ba center. We also have free swimming pool for customer and all the staff very friendly.

Our room was nice and spacious with an efficient air conditioner, the location on the periphery of the action suited us, and the staff were very helpful. The breakfasts were good but not great, but other meals we had were not good. Luckily, the town has other delicious restaurants!
