A day on foot is ample time to see Victoria, one of the smallest capitals in the world. Located on Mahe, one of the Seychelles' 115 granite and coral islands, Victoria is the republic's business and cultural hub. At its center sits the Victoria Clocktower, a national monument reminiscent of London's "Big Ben" that has kept ticking since 1903, unaffected by the modern glass and concrete development around it. Visit the local art galleries and craft markets to soak up the city's friendly charm.

Great traditional Seychelles food and friendly service. The restaurant was virtually empty when we were there. A set menu but lots of different types of dishes. Very fast service.

We truly enjoyed our meal, all the dishes were fabulous. The steak and seafood bowl were outstanding.!What we found the most frustrating was the wait staff. They were forgetful, disorganized, sloppy and lacked professional training. Thank God the food was good because I wouldn’t go back if I knew I had to be served by that staff again.

The only restaurant right on the beach a few meters away from the Indian ocean ! Lunch light on the Terrace, select your preferred tapas or taste a succulent ice cream in the afternoon in between dips and the sea. Enjoy magnificent sundown while enjoying delicious cocktails and fusion food. Mahe, Beau Vallon Beach
Was recommended to try La Plague from Reading a few online reviews of the area, seemed like a nice place and good location, went in for dinner and asked "Do you have space for 2?" This was met by a rudely answered "No reservation?" and a roll of the eyes from the waiter, followed by a "well you will have to sit inside" he then turned to lead us to our table (or so we thought) we then followed him through the restaurant and out to the outdoor Seating area, he then turned around and said "no I said you were inside!" I appologised for following him and went back inside and found our own seats inside near the toilets with a lovely view of the wall. After browsing the menu of what can only be described as over priced local cusine my partner suggested we leave. Best decision we made all evening!

The outdoor patio is great. Even from the dining room you get a nice ocean breeze at night. I had curried chicken which was seasoned really well and was tasty. For dessert, I had an apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. The apple crumble also appeared to have pears and some sort of berries, but the crust was very flavorful and it was an enjoyable dish. Some folks I see complain about the price, but everything in the Seychelles is a bit pricey. This location was definitely cheaper than having dinner at my hotel which would have been about $90 USD for the buffet.
Marivonne is the Owner. She greeted me and welcomed me. She is very attentive as are her staff. Her husband Keith also spoke and made me feel very welcome and at home. I wanted to return, but visited different Islands and when I returned, they were already closed, but when I return to the Seychelles, I will definitely go back here for lunch or dinner.

While heavily promoted La Scala lives up to the hype. Traditional, old school feel with longstanding owners and a well deserved high reputation. Attentive staff, nice cooking (fish was offered grilled, fried, creole style using the type of cooking as the choice to be made). Large portions, so go hungry and be sure to ask for an outside or balcony table which is cooler. Excellent.

After having trudged around Victoria and becoming increasingly with the guide book map, we happened upon this place, which we'd been looking for earlier. Upon entering the restaurant it was cool and calm and we were greeted with friendly enthusiasm. Ever member of staff that we came into contact was kind and considerate, suggesting suitable food for our children and ourselves. The food was honestly sold, home made and excellent. The ice creams were fantastic too! We would definitely go back!

Its the best Indian restaurant we found in Mahe. This is in Eden island, very close to Victoria, the main town in Mahe island (Seychelles). They do home Delivery only in Eden island. Great vegetarian fare, reasonable pricing since Indian vegetarian in Seychelles is quite rare. Nice indoor and outdoor Seating. All in all a great experience.

Fantastic location, views brilliant.
Buffet very limited and expensive. The day I went was Kreole buffet, mainly fish, rice and chicken. All had a curry influence and very spicy (Chili).
A varied buffet would have been more enjoyable especially for those of us who do not like a lot of chili in our food.

Bravo! is a trendy, vibey, Café, Restaurant and Bar situated on the prestigious Eden Island Marina. The winning recipe to Bravo's consistency and good service is great team work. Striving towards attentive service, creating a fun and enjoyable casual dining atmosphere and tasty hearty food. We offer a wide variety of dishes and cater to everyone's needs. Live music on a Friday and Saturday evening sets the mood for the weekend. If you looking for good food and good service then you have come to the right place!! BRAVO!! PUTTING YOU FIRST!!
Although the price is considered expensive by most locals, it is fairly reasonable compared to other places. The barternders are the friendliest of all people and they will not disapoint when you order a cocktail. even the traditional cocktails have a new 'sense' about it and so does the food. Perfect for family, couples and friends to visit; with a great view of the Eden Island Marina and the Mountains of Mahe Island.

I visit this place to have coffee and regroup. The coffee is good, food is so, so. The service is better than many places in Victoria which isn't saying much. I've learned not to ask locals questions about how to get some place or anything else - News Cafe servers seem to not really be sure of where they are, let alone how to get to some other place...
