We ordered flake, potato cakes, dim sims, chips and a steak sandwich. The food was soggy and the potato cakes were generic mass produced wastes of time. The steak sandwich was literally toast, minute steak and hot wilted lettuce. I asked for a lot of chicken salt and received none. There was probably only a pinch of normal salt. The woman cut me off when I was making my order assuming I was done and then when I asked for an extra item she assumed I no longer wanted any chips. Which I said we still wanted to order. I chose two sauces. They weren't nice and were over priced. There's also no eftpos facilities. Cash only. They like to promote that they won a NAB award in 2012. Don't be fooled, keep driving.

We were driving by and picked this lovely restaurant for lunch over the weekend. Quiet when we arrived, it wasn't packed over this Sunday lunch, and I guess I'm surprised. The service we received was friendly and personal, the food was faultless.We didn't ask the price of the specials we ordered and that hurt a little, but the meals were absolutely delicious. Nice decor etc.And BYO!!I would definitely return.

Tried this place after seeing a couple of good reviews on TripAdvisor but was disappointed, and grandma was positively angry. Grandma's battered flake went soggy in the wrapping with the chips, my grilled flake was small and dry, my wife's grilled Whiting smelt a bit too fishy (not fresh). Chips, potato cakes and dim sims were ok but pretty hard to stuff that up. Will keep looking for a good fish and chip shop in the area.

display case containing fish had a very happy looking blowfly buzzing about.quality of all food was average.ordered 7 pieces of fish to serve 7 people, received 2 pieces. fortunately they are generous with chips and after rationing everything out everyone was fed.

Just another fish shop but a good one and extremely popular with the locals which is a good sign. You will have a wait on a Saturday or Sunday night.The food is all freshly cooked and the grilled fish is delicious. A seafood pack between two is probably sufficient for most people.

The Fish and Chip Shop recommended to us was closed so we drove a few hundred metres and found this one. Their "Platter for Two" was supplemented by a bit of Calamari and all in all we have a great seafood feast. It is not five star, but the food was good and cheerfully served
