Have eaten there twice in last few weeks whilst travelling between Ballarat and Bendigo. Pizzas are the best around by miles! They are huge and covered with cheese and toppings. Be aware that large pizza is very filling!Wife loves their greek salad which is so beautifully presented, with intricate cuts of tomato and cucumber surrounding a huge spectacular salad. Dressing is incredible!And only $9.50!!!Being Daylesford you would expect high tourist town prices, but no! Pizzas are around $18 -20 for a large.Highly recommend!

Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. This restaurant quite frankly ruined our Friday night. The service was actually non existent (never experienced anything like it!!), one of the waitresses was chewing gum, took about 45 minutes to get our drinks (had to get up 3 or 4 times to remind them), the food was inedible - the lasange was dry, the gnocchi was dry - both looked and tasted like they had been cooked two weeks ago. The lamb was cold and tasteless. I'm usually not one to bother with reviews but this experience was so bad I felt it was an injustice to others not to advise of our experience - we left quite upset and would not want other customers to waste their time or money with this restaurant.

Wonderfully renovated and filled with local wines and food. A place to visit again whenever one travels to Hepburn Springs. May be slightly pricey but the service and attention is well worth it.

We ordered delivery - Margherita, mexicana and gamberi picante.When this shop first opened, it was wow!!! Finally pizza has arrived. Unfortunately like so many local shops with limited competition the quality has slipped.Our pizzas weren't cut through (the kids werent happy) our pizzas were dry, over cooked and cold by the time they reached us. For $72 the food should be faultless, this was very far from it. Stick to the hepburn pizza shop from now on.

Yes.The Palais is no more, well certainly not a restaurant at the moment.The palais has been many things in recent years. Unfortunately the current restaurant is now not functioning as lease expired and owners sold the building to a potential developer.This was a great place to hang out with some rustic charm, nice staff to chat to, and a free pool table.

We enjoyed it the first time so decided to celebrate 38 years of marriage by enjoying another great meal. Bruschetta was amazing followed by melt in the mouth gnocchi and salmon fettuccine. Fantastic meals full of amazing flavour. The staff were attentive and only there when you required them. You were not pushed to order which is very refreshing. Price very reasonable for the quality of the food. Will certainly return and also recommend it as a place to eat when in the area.
