Great breakfast brunch lunch spot opposite the beach. Indoor and outdoor seating. Nice cool beachy decor and vibe. Nice selection on the menu. Coffee is excellent! And the food sublime. Definitely worth stopping- highly recommended.

James Halliday's Winery of the Year 2012 and one of the most exciting wine destinations in Australia. This award wining contemporary architectural landmark with monumental limestone rammed earth wall, soaring timber ceilings and panoramic views over undul
The two of us had lunch at this restaurant. Perfect location with beautiful views and great interior design, this place look promising. The service was quick and we had the perfect setting for a great lunch but unfortunately that wasnât the case. We had 2 bite size dishes that are literally one bite, in our case crocket and polenta chips. They were ok. Then we had the calamari bigger size but still small. That dish was average. For main we had the steak and crab linguini. Both typical starter size and not great. The linguini was oily and the steak well over cooked. For desert we had the brownie that we had to cancel 15 min after we finished the coffee. All in all it felt like a disappointing miss.

My husband took me to Polperro Restaurant for lunch on my birthday... we were overwhelmed by the winery grounds, loved seeing the veggie garden at the front of the Restaurant building, brilliant idea of using local produce, canât be as fresh as picking produce from the winery veggie garden. We decided on the tour menu, small selection of dishes. $90 per person food only and with matching wines, $150 per person. We thoroughly enjoyed the food there. The outlook from the restaurant wasnât bad either. I believe that if you book prior to 12:30pm seating, you have a 2 hour seating. After that, you can stay longer than 2 hours. If you eat outside (unless it is over the busy summer period), you have a smaller menu to choose from. Staff were friendly. We did find the restaurant got a bit noisy when it was nearly full. Apart from that, we enjoyed the food and wine at Polperro Restaurant.
Nestled in the Boundary Rd Shopping precinct, 228 No Boundaries is all about delicious house made real food, ready to take away. From local produce, our gourmet pies and pastries are hand crafted on site, and paired with amazing locally roasted Shark Bay
This has only been open 4 months and early indications are it will do very well - you can order in advance and for weekend visitors to the peninsula this would work well. Shark bay coffee is served and so a lunch stop works well too . They bake everything on the premises and the Angus beef is slow cooked for 9 hours for their chunky beef pies- and the chicken and veggie options look good too. Mini quiches and wraps and sandwiches are also on offer- definitely worth a look!

Our visit to Trofeo for lunch was fantastic. We had a bit of wine tasting first to enable us to select a wine to have with our lunch. The terracotta fermented Chardonnay was so good. I usually drink SavBlanc so this was a surprise for me. There were 4 of us and we had a lovely round table with really comfy chairs. The food was delicious and not too expensive. The only downside was the lack of service once we had finished our main course. We eventually decided to sit outside and have coffee. However we had to chase a waiter for us to order the coffee. The service for our food delivery once ordered, was prompt and professional. The grounds are peaceful and scenic with a tree that children were able to climb plus a dam with ducks and sheep. We look forward to a return visit.

Monkey Business is a Modern Bistro in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula. If you Hear, See & Speak Evil, there will always be a seat for you.
Several choices of something quite different for breakfast. We chose to share chili scrambled eggs with three cheeses and radish flakes, and their special for that day of mushrooms with Gorgonzola. Both were great. These are high class dishes each lovingly produced, so they might take a little longer than the more traditional fare.Prices are very reasonable, you could have the scrambled eggs described above and a cup of coffee for $20. Havenât tried lunch but can also say that the dinner menu is excellent, and for a special treat try the chefs degustation. Prices very reasonable for the quality.
