Things to do in Drouin
Canton City offers a wider variety of dishes than many other Chinese restaurants. We have never dined in, but find their take away service interesting and tasty. They are prompt and add prawn crackers on any order over $23. We enjoy their pork dumplings from their quite extensive entree dishes. Their lamb dishes provide an option unusual in Chinese cooking. Well worth visiting.
On our way home, we decided to get take-away and try The Seven Noodles take-away shop in Warragul. The Nasi Goreng is really good. Just remember to specify how hot the chilli spices you want.Mild was good and still has a bite to it. Love their version of Nasi Goreng. Has mainly seafood and vegetables in a tasty curry flavour. You can eat at the bar on stools, but its mainly take-away.The menu has lots to choose from with the variety of noodles.Dim Sims are tasty and homemade.Would definitely try again.Open Tue to Fri Lunch 11.30am - 3pm.Open Tue to Sun Dinner 5-9.30pm.Closed Mondays.Cash Only payments.

We have been customers for many years and recently too and the food has been excellent, no complaints. However last Friday we ordered takeaway and it was not a good experience the Honey prawns still had shells and tails not easy or nice when they are battered trying to spit out shell and tails. Beijing Beef normally crispy was soggy and had a sour taste in the sauce. Dim sims were cold not steamed enough. We rang and told them and were promised feedback would go to manager and we would get some credit on our next order. They said head chef was away. However we went to order again and told no record of the offer and they would just give us a lousy 10% off our next order. Not interested have lost me.
The service on the phone was friendly and polite, as was the service in the store. Very basic , very clean. The food was very good and quick. I placed an order via the phone and walked to the takeaway... the girl instantly knew which order I had placed. ( Must have been the confused look on my face...the directions I had from my co-workers were interesting to say the least). I would certainly eat here again. Flavors were good.

Wow, just wow! Being a person who is wordy i find myself lost, Like Alice, fallen down the rabbit hole and unable to explain. Maybe I've been spoilt by all the good Vietnamese food in Springvale, maybe I've been spoilt by other reputable Chinese restaurants across Melbourne. If you have to trick up your food with MSG then you are doing the wrong thing. Ask if you like, get the answer you want to hear but your head will tell you in the hours that follow that MSG is knocking on your skull and trying to bust its way out, leaving you feeling like an over inflated tube. Other than that poor quality food at the right price. It's the 2 dollar shop of restaurants

BB, Christine and William are great! the friendliest restaurant I have ever been to. Their food is the best with specials updated all the time. My recommendations are the soups and the noodles.Since moving to Casey area, we still take trips to Drouin just for their food and hospitable attitude.
