Things to do in Creswick
This little cafe is a part of the aged care facility. It is used by residents, visitors and staff, but is also open to the public. It serves coffee, tea, cakes etc, as well as a good lunch. The menu is simple and small but delicious. All cooked on the premises in the cafe. Current hours (I think) Mon to Fri 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. Clean, bright, cheerful space, great food. Sharon's pies, cakes and scones are always good.
Great coffee in a tiny quirky cafe. Stopped for coffee and stayed for lunch. Loved the wagu pastrami with house-made slaw and dill pickles. Yummo! The almond biscuits, baked that morning were seriously delish and my partner had the scones with freshly made strawberry and rosemary Jam...heaps of cream. We'll be back for more and looking forward to the cheese platters and a glass of wine when they get their liquor Licence.Gotta love the idea that everything, or nearly everything, in this cafe is for sale. They have an eclectic range of vintage furniture, paintings, Pots and all sorts of period treasures. Highly recommend a visit. Staff were super friendly and the Barrister knows how to pull a great coffee

I decided to ride my electric bike from Ballarat to Creswick. It was always going to be a stretch for my battery to last the return journey, so I looked for a place for lunch that had a visible power point. The friendly staff at Creswick Roast were happy for me to plug my battery in, while I stayed for lunch.I had the small roast pork, which was tasty and filling, coming with a choice of three vegetables from the wide array on offer. The crackling was great! They had some lovely looking cakes on offer, so I charged my own batteries with a lemon slice and a pot of tea. Both were delicious. The tea came with extra hot water - always a nice touch.

Where to eat Australian food in Creswick: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I have visited this establishment on several occasions and the food never disappoints. Whether it is Australian or Indian you will always be satisfied with the superb value for money food. The staff are very friendly and have establised themselves as part of the community. Maybe the service could be a little slicker particularly with drinks when one is waiting a while for a meal?
