It was midweek it was lunchtime i was cold, and after a fair hike thru the cathedral ranges I thought a good steak a glass of wine and a seat near a fire would do the trick. We were initially greeted by a young waitress who to my query of can we get a drink as saying this is the restaurant BARS THRU THOSE DOORS and pointed, I should of left, my wife said its a steak and chips and beer you want im sure it will be fine.A more mature woman intervened and said you can have your wine on the couch by the fireplace, so I took the wine sat by the fireplace (unlit) when I asked for it to be lit I was told we dont light the fire till 430/5.00.I ordered the steak and asked for something between rare and medium rare, was told no that is not possible, The young fawlty took back over and said you will have to move you cant eat where youre sitting, so i moved to a cold dim dining area that probably seats well over 100 with a total of 6 diners, the waitress came took my empty wine glass and I said could I have a beer please, she said "You will have to wait Im going to get your food,The steak when it arrived was more medium than anything else, the pepper sauce was out of tin of a powder and thin, on the same plate as the tbone were the chips, which was a very tiny portion and the salad even smaller with a bottle vinaigrette tipped over it, at $38, not good enough and a reasonable amount went back to the kitchen. The final performance was when I went to pay using tap n go she said your cards declined, it hadnt, the connection had timed out, and it went thru fine on a second go.IT WAS SHOCKING FROM GO TO WHOA, DRIVE ON TO THE NEXT PLACE IT CANT BE WORSEMany thanks for your humorous review, and comparing us to Fawlty Towers. We are sure that if we had retired it would not have been in the hospitality industry where customers refuse to sit at a dining table and are sarcastic to young staff who are training and completely confused from your behaviour on the day. Our Tbone is weighted at 300gms, our pepper sauce is made from fresh stock and is definitely not from a packet. Our salad dressing is a vinaigrette which is also made on premises. Also we cannot be blamed for bank system errors, this is something that is completely out of our control. Although two members of staff attempted to offer you personal service, it appears that we were not successful in fulfilling your wishes and will look at how we can improve in the future.
We ordered a set for 2 (i think its our first try on the fried dim sum) and we still dont really like the potato cakes...and a burger. All tasty! But my boy was happy with the calamari when he came back with his dad to buy 10 pieces of it.....for supper

Came here on one occasion during our stay at the sensation Vibe Hotel, but regrettably this restaurant was a massive letdown mainly because we could see the unused potential, it had all the ingredients to be a fantastic place but sadly the staff and the poor quality of ingredients/food used took this restaurant down to a low level so much so that I would not at all be able to recommend anyone dining here.. I hate writing negative reviews but hopefully this one goes someway towards waking management up to the lost potential of this fine looking, well equipped restaurant.

Elevation 423 Bar & Cafe offers a mix of tables, couches and bar stools in a warm cosy environment, with big bi-fold doors to the great outdoor deck area. There's an ever-expanding food and drinks menu that includes pizzas in the afternoon and evenings, a
We arrived at this restaurant at 6pm on a Saturday night. After being seated and looking at the menu my husband decided on pizza and I ordered lamb salad. We were informed that they did not have any pizzas ( 6.15pm on Saturday night). My husband then said he would have the fish, guess what no fish, no kids meals either. So he ordered a parmi? . After a lengthy wait out came my lamb salad which was chicken salad. The parmi then went to the table next to us. Well, after waiting 1.5 hours and still no food we paid for our drinks and left. I cannot rate the food because we didnât get any. Very poor service and probably only still open because there is very limited options to eat in Marysville

Dined for lunch. I had the Buxton trout & brie baguette & mug of chai - special homemade recipe - both were delicious. We returned next morning for breakfast where I had the Buxton trout with scrambled eggs on a croissant & of course another mug of delicious homemade chai. Friendly service.

Great little pub with good selection of beverages including mulled wine and warm apple cider on tap. Reasonable service. We arrived during a quiet period so food was quick coming out.
