Trinh's Kitchen happily brings authentic Vietnamese cuisine with traditional recipes and a passion to cook. Coffee House also provides beautiful brunch meals, coffee and a variety kind of cakes, pies. Let's come and enjoy!
We ate here for a second time and were so disappointed that it had gone very downhill. The staff were lovely but the food was tasteless. We had one entree and went elsewhere. So disappointing.Good morning KENDALLJR. Thank you very much for your comment and we deeply apologize for your bad experience. Please let us know what was the meal you picked to improve and we will give you a credit as give you to have another try. Thank you.

Visited with a friend as the lical Thai place up the road was closed. Upon being seated our wine glasses were whisked away but with no explanation and no offer of a drink, even water. Inexperienced young staff. Requested tofu vegies and noodles. Was a difficult request apparently! For chinese it was bland. No serviettes on table. No water offered. No sauce in sauce bottle on table Terrible.

Excellent food quality and service. Only had takeaways twice however the food is tasty, clean, fresh and generous serves. Owners are very nice and offer great service. The restaurant looks great and keen to dine in. Definitely the best Chinese in Gisborne by far.

Just average flavours! We visited for lunch, chose Seafood Special, it was fresh, consisted of Prawns, scallops, fish and vegetables, lacked flavour in the sauce ..we then went for the Aussie Chinese favourite, Banana Fritter and icecream...Fritter & icecream fine...where was the sauce, we got a cotton thin drizzle of maybe caramel topping.... All the basics are there, just needs a " lift". It's a takeaway also & BYO.

This Thai restaurant can turn it in when they feel like it. I found the inconsistency to be disappointing considering what you pay.Tonight we purchased take away and not only were we disappointed with the food but we found the quantity to be appalling containers half filled and topped up with lettuce. Also it was not fresh frozen veggies were definitely used Never again

Fun, lively, Asian fusion cocktail bar in the heart of Gods country. Serving quality Northern Chinese dumplings, exceptional cocktails with home-infused vodkas. Open Wednesday through Sunday.
Attended for a Friday night dinner for hubby's birthday. Lovely restaurant with a sofa section which my 4 year old entertained herself in. Wait staff very friendly, attentive, good humoured and helpful. We ordered the banquet for six of us, and kitchen was happy to provide for three vegetarians and three omnivores. We had a few types of dumplings, two salads, eggplant curry, green beans, rice; coffee and tea and creme caramel. We brought a cake with us which was able to be cut and served at our table also. Great experience and would highly recommend!
