We have two restaurants at our venue; Dawson's Bistro LUNCH- From 11.30am / DINNER- From 5.30pm Trackside Noodle Bar 7 Days a week 12.00pm - till late
Another visit to Greyhounds with friends. The meals were delicious, beef rinds, wedges and coleslaw. Mine was land back strap with sweet potato mash, asparagus, broccoli and snow peas, absolutely delightful. Friends had fish which they said was very good also. My only complaint always is that you cannot split the bill. This makes it difficult when there are two or more couples, paying their own way.

The Hotel is Dandenong's longest standing hotel in the area. Built in 1891, some of the original works are still present. Albion Hotel caters for all tastes and occasions. The Hotel has been recently renovated to offer our patrons the best entertainment a
Came here on a Groupon. Food plentiful and staff very friendly. The chicken drumettes as entree were amazing. However our steak was inedible. The chef cooked it perfectly but they need to change their butcher. There were so many tendons and grisly bits that only one quarter was eaten, and that was only after picking through the pile of cut up mess. They were very apologetic and offered to replace the meal or free desert. The staff handled themselves very well over our poor meals, to their credit. We sat by the open fire and enjoyed the quiet evening mid week. Will come back.

Most school holidays I am looking for something cheap and time consuming to do (that doesn't involve screens). My two kids (aged 9 and 11) usually always beg for a trip to IKEA for breakfast in the school holidays and it has become quite a tradition in our family. I haven't been always impressed with the breakfasts on offer but recently I think they have revamped the offerings and have got it just about right. You can now order a children's breakfast that is uncomplicated (eggs, hash brown and bacon/sausage) with the option of adding extras for a dollar or two, e.g. beans, more bacon, etc. This is pretty good value when the basic children's breakfast is only $2. My eldest has the adult breakfast but at only $4 this is still great value. We usually arrive as IKEA is opening (around 10am) and it isn't usually busy. I let them get the trolley and the trays plus the knives and forks, etc. and they can manage the whole process without my help anymore, leaving me to grab my coffee and cinnamon scroll at my leisure. Once we are done I also give them the responsibility of putting our waste in the right container (great learning opportunity regarding waste) and our trays with dirty dishes on the convey-a-belt - they enjoy this bit as much as having breakfast! They like to peak into the kitchen to see the people working in there which always starts an interesting conversation about working at IKEA and the different types of jobs people do there. A trip to IKEA is a great learning experience but a cheap breakfast is an added bonus!

Visited twice and found service to be erratic, with 1 missed meal and 1 wrong meal, long service time. The food however was good, large servings and tasty. Popular cafe with outdoor and indoor seating. Would go again next visit to Melbourne.
