La Porchetta Pizza Restaurant

We had take-away pizza from this restaurant in March 2018. They offered a deal that included two large pizzas, garlic bread and a large soft drink for $30 and I thought that was good value. The toppings were fresh and they accepted a slight alteration to the pizzas at our request. The pizzas were thick crust and we enjoyed the meal.

Although I was in colac for training,my last night in colac a few members of the training class ordered some food from mighty moes. The food was absolutely fabulous with each serve being a fairly decent sized meal with big chunky chips n bid parmas or snitzel or pork ribs or nachos..all are big enough for 2-3 people. Definitely worth a visit when in colac if u want a decent sized feed for a good price.

On our journey back to Melbourne coming from the 12 apostles we were looking for a reasonable option to feed our empty stomaches. In addition a restaurant offering gluten free food was a must. After a quick search online we found Rock'n'Pizza in Colac directly located at the M1 highway on the opposite of the Toyota car dealer. The restaurant offers in-house eating and take away. After a quick chat with the chef we've ordered two pizza (one GF and one Non-GF) and the GF fish'n'chips.Everything was well served in about 15 - 20 minutes. The quality and the taste of the food was very good. If you like American style pizza you will love it. The fish'n'chips were great. Not dry and not oily.Unfortunately they haven't served some remoulade sauce for the fish'n'chips neither some majo sauce for the chips. This explains the four stars instead of five. However, the owner were very friendly, the food is great and the prices are totally ok. We've paid 38AUD and our stomaches weren't empty anymore. We would stop by anytime again. Thanks for the mousse au chocolate as desert!Susi, Susan and Thomas from Germany.
