One of the best restaurants we've dined at in a long time. Described as 'westernized Italian', the food is delicious, hearty and value for money. The service is joyous - the staff all seem to enjoy their job, each other and their customers. The ambiance is a mixture of intimacy and a shared experience, which was lovely. We were also served in a timely fashion and made to feel very special. Will not only be returning soon, but recommending Solo to everyone.

I love my Mexican so couldn't wait to try The Burrito Bar....but terribly disappointing! First, the service was awful. We had to wait too long for food, when it did come entrees and mains came together and most were warm at best. As a result, most of entree was wasted. As it happened, we would have left most of the nachos anyway: they were cold, poorly topped and we didn't like the corn chips - terrible. Of our 2 main meals, the crispy wrap was OK, but enchilada was average. All in all, really poor experience. Looking forward to nearby Montezuma's opening...maybe that will provide the yummy local Mexican I've been waiting for.

I have been to this restaurants on some occasions. The decoration and ambience are great, perfect for an after-work drink or family dinner. I went with friends, and everyone was happy with the wide selection of tacos, burritos and drinks! Especially their range of beer and margaritas. Try the coconut or the exclusive 'padre' tequila. The barman is experience, and the staff are always smiling. They have happy hour and accommodate functions. Give them a go and support local!
