More restaurant than bistro, this eatery located at Main Ridge on the Mornington Peninsula is well worth a visit for fine food.Meals are well presented, tasty and good variety.Full bar service.Prices are more than average but quality is also better than average.Service was very attentive.
When at Safety Beach do yourself a favour and check out this fantastic Micro Supermarket filled with amazing food. There is also a Café attached to the store with some bench seating and bay views. This place has great coffee and seriously the best Vanilla Slices ever. I was told Provincia creates the VSâs in-house.There is a designated car park in front of the store or ample of side street parking.

Okay, Great fit out lovely coastal charm. Crisp & clean so Friday afternoon late lunch this place seemed to fit the bill. Wait Staff can`t fault friendly and accomodating. This part of the operation seems to know it`s stuff. (Yeah, I am Building). Entree of dips and bread just great. The bread on the plate warm the dips perfect. Mains, My Snapper, with cheese wedges, (you get 2 !) Greek Salad 4 slivers of capsicum, 3 wedges of over ripe tomato, cos lettuce. Not an olive in sight nor cucumber or feta, was cooked perfectly but no seasoning just average. Mediterranean pasta was good but entree size at best. It left me very "Oh well" . I may have returned another day or mentioned my thoughts to the waitress on paying however heres where my issue lies. On presenting at the counter to pay i receive the bill hand over my "DEBIT CARD" i get informed that "theres a $1.90 surcharge". Now, sure where these people get kept up to date on world affairs but we are moving towards a cashless society guys. Amex i get even credit card if you actually advertise it. When i questioned this i was told "No thats it do you want to speak to a manager?" I asked "do you advertise this on your menu, inform your guests or where am i warned about this? If i use a ATM thats not my banks i get offered the info re fee and generally i accept. I will even cop the 10% surcharge on some restaurant menus for public holidays if it is displayed. I won't be back I have however passed on my complaint to the ACCC.
