Things to do in Sorrento
Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club (SSCBC) is located at the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula, easily accessible from Melbourne. Home to the largest fleet of Couta boats in Australia, we enjoy racing every weekend from November to June. Our Clubhous
Breakfast here was enjoyable, and the staff taking the order were good. One of the listed meals (Poached eggs and smashed avocado) was somewhat underwhelming, but overall the meals were good. The "big breakfast" looked great, and my pancakes were very good. One of the coffees was slopped in the saucer and surreptitiously mopped up prior to delivery, and a cappuccino was well under normal temperature. Do I sound negative? I do not mean to be, because as a package for the seven people at the table it was pretty good overall.
This general store has the lot , great fresh takeaway food , saves a drive if you are on the back beaches, friendly staff and outside tables to eat , worth a visit

Panda Blairgowrie is fashioned around the simple concept of sharing. The sharing of food, wine, laughter and good vibes was the main motivation when creating both the fit out of the venue, along with the menus. Panda consists of a main dining room and has
We had a great feed at Panda. Some would think it would be an Asian cuisine with a name like panda but it is not.I ordered a buttermilk chicken burger $24, this was my only issue with the place.Although the burger was tasty it was not amazing in anyway and the same/similar burger at other places would be half the price. It was just a bun some lettuce, special sauce (aioli I think) and 3 chicken strips.I had a st Andrews beer (locally brewed) and some small donuts with a strange name which where amazing. The staff are all fantastic and friendly.Plenty of outside tables and room for your dog.Great place and food, I just feel I got jibbed a little with the chicken burger and expected a bit more for the price hence the four star not 5 star review.

Unfortunately this cafe experience was very disappointing. Although l donât like strong coffees, ours were too weak. My main breakfast dish ( only requested one piece of gluten free optional bread) was overpriced at $24 and basically presented. When enquiring as to whether l could have a little parsley or something to add to the plate bareness, the waiter was arrogant and argumentative. Far from customer care and spoilt my Birthday experience.

A bright, breezy, and just a little cheeky, eatery and bar for locals, weekenders and holiday makers alike to enjoy! Why Mr Morce ? Staying with the local heritage and the fact that we are locals, we wanted to embrace a theme around part of our historic b
Our expectations were maybe set a bit too high as we had heard many glowing reports about this restaurant. It was recently taken over by a well known Sorrento local person. The food is quite good but not outstanding. At least the prices are not outlandish. The service was very good, efficient and knowledgeable. A comprehensive and not too large wine list at reasonable prices. There are many places to dine out in this part of Mornington Peninsula - maybe Mr Morce just needs to find a clearer point of difference to the rest. We will, at some stage, give it another try. Thanks for your review. Thanks for pointing out some of our points of difference. Being service and pricing. We will continue to strive to improve and hope that on your next return you enjoy our new spring menu with our popular daily specials.Regards, Troy

What happened to service, restaurant staff at hotel Sorrento are so busy talking amongst themselves they forget about their customers. Our annual crossing of the bay always seeâs us heading down the Main Street to The Bossâs Daughter! The venue, staff and menu are always great and late breakfasts are worth waiting for.The porridge with stewed rhubarb apple raspberries strawberries pecans yoghurt and crumble are a hearty warming meal. Poached eggs cooked perfectly with grilled tomato and hash browns are delicious. We look forward to our next visit!

The Baths is a family friendly restaurant on the Sorrento front beach. We have the perfect space for spectacular beach weddings and cater for birthdays, engagement celebrations, christenings, golf and corporate groups. We are open 7 days a week for lunch
The weather was perfect for a lunch at The Baths today and the food matched! This is a fabulous place to enjoy lunch in Spring - the grilled fish (barramundi) was cooked perfectly, the service was friendly and efficient. Iâd love to return but Iâll make a booking and request a table by a window Thank you for your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your experience with us. We have passed on your great feed back to the staff and kitchen staff. We really appreciate you taking the time to post this review! Thank you and we hope to see you again soon

I booked for dinner (2 adults and one child) on 14th February (Valentine's day).Having read the menu on their website, I was hoping to try oysters, scallops and pork belly. To our surprise, the "special" Valentine dinner did not have any of these, but still costed 75$ for 3 course menu. Somebody from the management must explain how you can offer a "special" dinner that has less choice for the same price? Drink: We started with a martini gyn - undrinkable. Too strong and no flavour of martini at all. Entree: fish terrine - tasteless.Main: Spaghetti Prawns. No salt. Loquat chef should follow Italian award winning chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo's advice to abound with salt and olive oil if you want to give taste to your dish.Dessert: Pavlova - excessively sweet. I do understand that a dessert must be sweet, but there is a spectrum! This must be a flaw of Australian chefs given that I had the same experience at Peter Gilmore's Bennelong.Other notes: very limited parking and waiters dressed quite randomly. In summary: dishes well presented but not pleasant. Not recommended.
