Have just returned from a four night trip down to Aireys Inlet & for two of the days specifically drove back into Anglesea for the purpose of grabbing lunch from this fantastic bakery.I hadn't sampled their pies before so this time included a Pepper Steak Pie in the order. Delicious!! Usually I am not a big fan of pies where mince has been use as opposed to chunks but - oh this was so nice with the perfect hit of spice & warmth & the amount of filling was exactly right to not only satisfy my hunger, but to eat it straight out of the bag without me ending up wearing it! I just had to get another on my trip back to Melbourne.Anglesea Bakery has been a family favourite ever since we were fortunate enough to discover it a few years back. Between our first visit until today we have lost count of how many times we have all returned although if the Great Ocean Road is ever the destination then it is now the 'unspoken rule' & everyone just knows that this is where we will end up at some stage during the holiday. At still only $6.00 for a meat & salad roll stuffed full of healthy fillings it suits our budget perfectly. Now I am glad to also be able to recommend the pies as well.Highly recommended - still...... great staff, reasonable prices, top value for money & easy to locate - so if you are heading down the Coast make sure you plan a stop over, we are sure you will love it as much as we do!!Thank you for reading this review, I hope that it has been helpful.
Purchased a few burgers, chips, potato cakes and flake during our weekend stay. Very happy with the quality and taste of the food. Great service too. Busy during school holidays but busy means good. Have been here a few times and never disappointed.

A great menu with lots of choices to suit everyone (my partner's a meat eater and he thought it was an exciting menu). I had the Ninja breakfast and he had the beetroot burger with golden lattes - both meals were excellent. The staff were also very friendly and made recommendations for things to do in the local area.

The venue has just seen a renovation costing nearly $200,000, there is lovely new furniture with sitting areas with comfortable tables and chairs to allow pre-dinner groups, or small business meetings. The menu has totally changed, but service is still as good, and overall this is now a better package than it was before (and it was good before)Thanks for your review John. We're glad your happy with the new menu and the new renovations and we look forward to seeing you around.

Relaxed Table Service Fast & Efficient Takeaway Options
Stopped here without a reservation for breakfast, 2 people. Outside seating without a reservation was not possible, so if that's what you desire, plan ahead. The interior is ok, but frankly, they should increase outside seating. The service was quick and paid attention, that was ok. The breakfast was principally delicious, but to be frank, it was overpriced. The portions were rather tiny, so was the coffee. To summarize, if you want to sit outside, make a reservation ahead. Food is good, service ok, but prices rather high.

We stopped here passing through the coastal town of Anglesea mid morning on a Sunday. Itâs usually a safe bet that if a cafe is busy, then it will be good and Bumblebeez did not disappoint. There is a good selection to choose from, with nice vegetarian options. The food is fresh and nicely presented, and was served quickly given how busy they were. Iâm a bit of a âcoffee snobâ and I have to say the cap I had was lovely. Pricing is about mid range, and I would say good value. Highly recommended.

Captain Moonlite is an eatery and bar all about delicious food, tasty wine and above all... good vibes. Housed within the Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club (one of the Surf Coast's best kept secrets) Captain Moonlite is tucked into the cliff-edge overlooking
Visited Captain Moonlite as a last minute idea last Friday. Had a really lovely meal, with great service and amazing views, no complaints at all. The next day, my husband asked how our bill had come to so much and we worked through everything we had ordered, itemising it. Sadly one of the items we originally ordered, was sold out, but it appears despite this, we were charged for it anyway, which is in very poor taste. So nice, but check your bill. I even tipped, which has really irritated me.Thank you for taking the time to pass on your feedback. Whilst Iâm delighted to hear you enjoyed your meal, I am terribly sorry that you were overcharged, it was certainly not intentional. As mentioned the item that was sold out should not have been on the bill. We would have no problem refunding the amount if you could kindly email me at [email protected] to arrange. We always pass on the bill to our guests to check over before paying but will make sure the staff will also be diligent in checking also. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Kind Regards - Gemma
