The venue has just seen a renovation costing nearly $200,000, there is lovely new furniture with sitting areas with comfortable tables and chairs to allow pre-dinner groups, or small business meetings. The menu has totally changed, but service is still as good, and overall this is now a better package than it was before (and it was good before)Thanks for your review John. We're glad your happy with the new menu and the new renovations and we look forward to seeing you around.

Hands down best carrot cake Iâve ever had, and they serve fantastic coffee in really nice mugs. Iâd highly recommend for a coffee and a treat. Lovely seating area too and the staff are lovely

We stopped here passing through the coastal town of Anglesea mid morning on a Sunday. Itâs usually a safe bet that if a cafe is busy, then it will be good and Bumblebeez did not disappoint. There is a good selection to choose from, with nice vegetarian options. The food is fresh and nicely presented, and was served quickly given how busy they were. Iâm a bit of a âcoffee snobâ and I have to say the cap I had was lovely. Pricing is about mid range, and I would say good value. Highly recommended.

Captain Moonlite is an eatery and bar all about delicious food, tasty wine and above all... good vibes. Housed within the Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club (one of the Surf Coast's best kept secrets) Captain Moonlite is tucked into the cliff-edge overlooking
Visited Captain Moonlite as a last minute idea last Friday. Had a really lovely meal, with great service and amazing views, no complaints at all. The next day, my husband asked how our bill had come to so much and we worked through everything we had ordered, itemising it. Sadly one of the items we originally ordered, was sold out, but it appears despite this, we were charged for it anyway, which is in very poor taste. So nice, but check your bill. I even tipped, which has really irritated me.Thank you for taking the time to pass on your feedback. Whilst Iâm delighted to hear you enjoyed your meal, I am terribly sorry that you were overcharged, it was certainly not intentional. As mentioned the item that was sold out should not have been on the bill. We would have no problem refunding the amount if you could kindly email me at [email protected] to arrange. We always pass on the bill to our guests to check over before paying but will make sure the staff will also be diligent in checking also. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Kind Regards - Gemma
The Fairhaven Surf Life Saving Club is a very impressive building & its prime ocean frontage makes for a wonderful location at which to enjoy a relaxing meal with family & friends.Unfortunately at the time of arrival 'The Sunset Lounge' was closed & it is understood that this Bistro is primarily open during the Summer months. That being the case a raincheck is earmarked in regards dinner.[ Seeing that I Was Already There... ]:Despite a meal being out of the question & direct access to the beach possible I couldn't resist taking a closer look. Wrapping myself in a blanket was of little benefit as gale-force winds & icy rain whipped around me. The surf was pounding & the roar from the waves relentless. The fast moving clouds made for a splendid display & with Fairhaven Beach reported as being the longest on the Great Ocean Road it is easy to see why this local Club & its surrounds is referred to the "heart & soul of the town".[Summary]:On this occasion my visit to 'The Sunset Lounge' may not have gone as planned but I certainly found my jaunt to the seas side incredible invigorating & eagerly await the warmer months when I can return with my family & experience this location from a whole different perspective.Thank you for reading this review, I hope that it has been helpful. Offering great breakfasts, lots of lunch specials and really good pizza, Thai, steaks and fish in the evenings. Also has a deli section for goodies to take home. Bake their own sour dough breads on Saturdays and the fruit loaf is exceptionally good. Frien
Well it looked very invitong but really is very average. The menu is quite extensive but the quality of the food extremly poor. I grabbed some water and glasses. I think its time to replace the plastic glasses as they look so used and cracked. The plastic has dicoloured so much you can't see the full water in themThe place itself looks untidy.I decided to just have the steamed chicken dim dims and my partner the squishy which is exactly what it was...very stodgy as were the dim sims. The only good thing was the Iced Chocolates but then how hard are they to do. Total bill $27.50 really not worth $10VERY DISAPPOINTING DONT BOTHER such a shame

Good food, good service, amazing location. Our go to for breakfast/ brunch since they opened a couple of years ago. I love the coffee, I am told the tea is just as good. The food is always fresh, organic, ethical and they are flexible with kids meals (when itâs not crazy busy) But we mostly go for the service, the friendly staff and the peaceful riverside location. We eat breakfast or brunch a lot, but have not found anywhere we return as often as ONDA, I donât think you will find better on the GOR.

Little bit tapas, little bit yum cha & little all sorts made up for a great feast here. You can order "little" or "big" bites. Big bites start at $46 but not a big serve. Highly recommend the special of the day soft shell crab that reminded me of Takoyaki. Warm cauliflower salad with buckweat, pomegranates etc was a flavourful taste delight. Pan charred scallops with parsnip puree was good but pricey at almost $5 per scallop. Ginger chicken dumpling was ok & baked mexican mushrooms did not rock our boat. Definitely start with hot toasted Turkish bread with home made fresh dips. We also had a bowl of crisp shoestring chips as a filler. Best to come in a bigger group to share & get to try more given the price. Did not order any drinks or cocktails. About $30 pp. Very friendly service. Quirky interior. Popular & a tad noisy. Do book ahead. Surcharge on public holidays.Easy to find on Great Ocean Rd & hardly 15 mins drive from Lorne. Btw - while you are here - check out Airey's walking cliff trails & beaches - a hidden gem away from the crowds of Lorne & Torquay.
