We booked ahead and when arriving were greeted by friendly staff. We ordered Angâs Banquet for a minimum of 3 people. Beautiful satay chicken, spring rolls. Beef rendang and green curry duck were also beautiful. So many courses, so much food all for $35 pp. only downfall it didnât include dessert but I was too full to fit it in anyway. Restaurant is BYO which is a bonus. Great relaxed atmosphere, comprehensive menu and friendly attentive staff. Iâll be back. Thoroughly recommend Ang Ang

haven't eaten here for sometime, what a delight, they have certainly upgraded. The décor is so much nicer, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The meal was on par with many fine Vietnamese restaurants. The menu is large and the prices are really good. I actually had to find our waitress to commend her on such a great job. I will be back.

I come here consistently and just about every dish I've tried is awesome and authentic! Service is also very quick. I've lived in Australia for 22 years now but I grew up in Malaysia and this is as close to Malaysian food as you'll ever get. My parents who's obviously spent most of their lives in Malaysia agree with me. Try the Chicken rice or the weekend-only homemade tofu (have it sizzling). My fave is the coconut butter chicken and the nyonya chicken. Yes I love chicken. The fish and beef are great too!

Was craving korean food at first but decided on Japanese last minute. Through pure luck, hubby found a Japanese restaurant quite near us and we thought to give it a try. At first glance, the entrance to this place can be easily missed if you weren't looking for it. Indoor seating area quite small and plain eith some outdoor seating under the stairs. Although we found the setting was awkward at first and we only had 45 minutes given the table we were seating on had a booking, boy what a lovely surprise we had. We had beef tataki and gyoza for starters and it was lovely and expected. Then we had beef Udon and also chicken katsu curry Don. What a homie feel it gave us. Truly reminds us of our visit to Japan. Would definitely come here again.Would've wanted to keep this little gem a secret but then again good things always tend to shine even when you try to hide it.

Outside the tradional enclaves of Springvale and Kingsway in Glen Waverley for a great Asian meal, this little hole in the wall restaurant at Knox Ozone ticks all the boxes. Located near the cinema, it ideally serves cheap, authentic, tasty meals very quickly if you want to grab a meal before hitting the flicks. They offer great meal deals and have an extensive menu. Serving sizes are generous and filling. I give Nudle two thumbs up,

Why is Junior Tan Junior Tan? Because there are two Tans and they together run this High Street Malaysian Hawker joint to an excellent business standard.Front of house gives good impressions and prompt service. The blackboards for specials are well-used and there are essentially six of them. The menu runs to some four columns and the drinks menu would be separate. One criticism of the drinks menu would be that the tea is hard to find if you are reading logically - which is a pity because the four tea selections [ours was cherry tea and it does have a good backtaste] cater for many tastes; especially those who appreciate fruity flavours like peach; mango and cherry. Coffee and iced stuff is easy to find which is appreciated on an unseasonably hot day like 20 September 2019's afternoon proved to be.The second impression proves to be a friendly crowd and good corner seats for two people near the kitchen and the toilet. The decor in Junior Tan stands out because there are Malaysian and Cantonese cult heroes walled up in decoupage - I believe they are calendar people. The service is straight; honest and no-nonsense. They take time to remember and repeat what you ordered - in this case it was S[alt] and P[epper] Squid for 12.50 [one of a line of many such meals - real choice in the seafood area in the streamlined menu which is well-designed] and Seafood Rice. The rice is clumpy and good to eat with chopsticks and mix with the aioli/orange mix. The squid is probably about 8 or 9 pieces well-battered and relatively light. The prawns are relatively well-cooked and there are squid and other things to enjoy - some minor colour given through lettuce similar to that at the Bayswater Fresh store.Unique offerings include extensive Milo selections winning over the customers. And the grape jelly might not be too bad either.Soft drinks are fairly valued at $3.50-$4.00 and some of the meals push over from Cheap Eats to Mid-Range territory.Good for banquets; business and groups.Junior Tan probably needs better sightlines.Junior Tan is probably the most popular of the three restaurants in High Street; the other two being 24 Spices and the pizza store which runs specials from 1100 to 1400.The rice portion is generous.I did not see too many condiments or a place to get them - the tables are small and good for listening. And I do not think the tables would take too much pressure.Highchairs are available though they are of the basic and washable type that would probably make a small person feel like they were in prison.Probably better to sit on one of the low bucket seats in front if you like the view from the window - you do get a view of Mount Dandenong and the Bayswater Station, as well as the now-destroyed Youth Centre. I imagine lots of people would come through on foot traffic or on the train - definitely a destination spot if you appreciate Malaysian/Singaporean/Hokkien/"Straits Times" food. This is why I love the Junior Tan and would most possibly come again.Their edge couches are well-made.Another aesthetic I appreciated was the tumbler for the chocolate mousse and fruit compote which consisted of chopped strawberry and blueberry. More than worth its $6.50 and its place on the specials board. [there are three other sweets which would not be considered "special" though probably truer to Malaysian hawker style].One tip for September 2019: Jessica and her wall work is on Mountain High on the Junior Tan side - this is part of Knox's Immerse "Art in unexpected places".

I took my family to Kinn at Knox Ozone and was very happy with the experiance. The booking was taken easily, there was a slight delay getting the table when we arrived however the place was packed and it was Mother's day however we were seated within a few minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful, took our order quickly and the dishes we oreded were brought promtly. The food was great and there was a good selection of styles and dishes to cater for a wide range of tastes. We had the Chilli Jam Soft Shell Crab and was very impressed.I would recommend going to Kinn and will be going back again as I enjoyed the food so much.

ALL YOU CAN EAT style menu incorporating over 30 traditional Japanese dishes for only $32.80!15 Locations in Melbourne.
What a great restaurant food was excellent and the waiting staff were fantastic very friendly and helpful. I have eaten the Crown Japanese restaurant and paid over $200 for little portions and no better then what was served tonight. I have never been to an all you can eat before and was very surprised how good the food was. There two sittings per evening I booked at 17:30 and it filled up with customers very quickly. Pre book on line.

We would highly recommend Straits to anyone looking for a great Malaysian restaurant. The quality of food is of a high quality. This is a busy little restaurant, so we would suggest booking.

Went here as we were looking for new Thai restaurant as our local has gone downhill badly. TA reviews were good and we werenât disappointed. Service was prompt friendly and efficient. Food came out quickly and was quite tasty. Menu recommendations by wait staff were appreciated. Only negative was that they are a bit stingy on the roti. We will definitely be back. Prices reasonable.
