The farmhouse “ il Poggio” is located in the middle of an area of 42 hectares; the ancient farmhouse is completely restored. It is so big to give hospitality to my family and also to have 3 independent accommodations for our guest, two rooms and one apartment. Our rooms – “accommodations” have all comforts and have a characteristic rural style in accordance with the peaceful rural nature.Our farmhouse is an ideal location for who loves to live in a countryside, staying in contact with nature.Near the building there is the wonderful Sant’ Angelo ‘s wood. People can run across the wood using so many paths among the centuries-old oak trees. Paths to go for a walk, or using mountain bike, or horse riding.The family management and the friendly family atmosphere will make our guests to feel at home. They will be able to rediscover country rhythms, to breathe fresh and pure air at the sunshine and peaceful feelings at the sunset.

Reviewed By Alex LThis quaint characteristic agriturismo is truly a well kept secret. Clean, fully equipped, and embraced by the natural beauty of the magical countryside, Il Poggio is owned by a delight couple who act more like true friendly welcoming hosts, rather than hoteliers. Nothing was a problem and they bent over backwards to make sure I was happy and well taken care of. The breakfast was typically Italian continental and comprised of cakes, tarts, yogurt and sweets, all made from fresh and genuine ingredients. I was almost moved when I had to say farewell and promised that I would be back. I certainly shall return, as Il Poggio is also a perfect hub for a cultural visit of the surrounding area which is dappled with magical Medieval and Etruscan towns and sites.

Immersed in a park of olive trees from Tuscany and Lazio, the land of the Etruscans, is the agreement. The farm is in an excellent location for any type of trip: 10 min. the famous thermal waters in Viterbo, 30 min. from the beaches of Tarquinia, one hour from Rome and two from Florence.Music is our passion, the large ROOMS, dishes typical of Lazio, the paths in the park, everything echoes this family atmosphere.

Reviewed By Godeste Genjoyed two days at L'Accordo in August'15. first night was in a fairly dark room (flat) with no AC (this was our fault as it was specified no AC.. ). enjoyed a lovely dinner with great food and company. the restaurant was fully booked but the staff managed to find a table for us :) second night the staff managed to provide a room with AC (we are very greatful for this effort!!) The bed in the AC-room is so and so.. too soft on my side, with no spring-support (right hand side of the bed had no support, left side had full support). otherwise a great room to have!!

Owner needs anger management classes
Reviewed By ytawkI spend 2 days here with my girlfriend. The check-in experience was not so friendly. Previously I informed the owner we are arriving late at 11 pm, he said it is OK. However due to traffic jam and unexpected stops, we were late and we arrived at 1 am. I didn't inform the owner we are arriving that late, which was my mistake. When we arrived, there was no one waiting for us, no key and owner do not answer his phone. We stayed half an hour there thinking what to do. Finally, I decided to knock on the door and to my surprise the owner came out very angry and shouting. I had to calm him down and sat sorry but I had no option because we didn't want to sleep on the street, He calm down finally, we got our room, we stayed 2 nights. Nothing special about this hotel, breakfast is ok located in a nearby restaurant. We didn't have our room cleaned and towels changed so we had to ask explicitly for new towels. I wish them luck but I also hope the owner can manage his anger better as he is working in tourism and customer service business.

Lovely typical cuisine
Reviewed By Thea PI personally didn't sleep at the villa, we just went there few times for dinner and it was great! Home grown veggies, super Italian pasta, everything is just so tasty and cheap! I would eat there again any time. And that house wine! Anytime!

Reviewed By W3867UXvictoriagWe stayed here after walking all day from Viterbo to Vetralla. We arrived at about 5pm to find a party going on in the hotel - there was no real reception and we had to hunt for someone to check us in! When we did find a lady to help us she ‘checked us in’ at a desk with this party going on around us and could not have cared less about our arrival, in fact we felt like a nuisance to them. Our bags (which had been transferred for us from the last hotel) were just left outside in the garden and we had to collect them ourselves. We were given no information just shown to a room, the party carried on into the night with no sign of a restaurant service being offered and no staff in site to ask about getting dinner. The hotel is 2 miles out of town so there is nowhere else to eat. In the end we had to walk into town to get some food in the dark, down roads with with no pavements or light!! The rooms to be fair were nice and clean but overall this was a terrible experience and I would not recommend staying here if you are walking as it’s too far out of town and it really felt that they were not interested in our business.
